Three weeks into May.....certainly enough time for owners to begin to figure out where their strengths and weaknesses lie. As for myself, I would welcome some speed, especially if it was in the form of an outfielder. I have some starting pitching to spare, and perhaps a third baseman for the right OF. Operators are standing by......

Looks like I finally pulled out of last (all the way up to 9th) for the week.

That must mean AJAM is back in familiar last place...

I wonder what DB's longest last place finish streak was?

Rich, do you have some sort of inside contact with the White Sox? You drop one of the hotter pitchers in the league in Feldman for Richard who had been beat up in his last start and then a few days later wind up with Peavy (assuming he agrees to the trade).

Lee, I just wanted innings. I actually dont like any Texas pitchers and just wanted to get rid of Feldman before he hurt my team. Only got Richards for two starts and the fact that he pitched 7 good innings on monday afternoon. My guess is Peavy wont OK the deal, so I wont celebrate just yet....

Marcel, could we modify our free agent list to show just the catagories that our league uses ??? The list doesn't show runs scored, yet it lists doubles, tripples, CS, and other stats that have nothing to do with our league... There has to be a way to only list the 10 catagories that our league uses.

Lee, I knew it. Peavy only wants to be traded to Atlanta.. He has said over and over that he wouldn't go to the AL..... I think the guys who run the Padres are Idiots. They should have traded him during the winter. Know they wont get much for him...

I think you can do what Rich is asking for with the stats. Way, Way Way back when I was doing the stats I think thst was an option. Things may have changed since I was doing stats, but hopefully this will still be an option. If not, perhaps another service can next year.

On the topic of another service, anyone have any suggestions? This seems to come up almost yearly, but it always comes up too late to really look in to anything else. Now would be a good time to start investigating...

I know Matt Palmer is losing his rotation spot with Escobar coming back but I can't believe no one grabbed him the last 3-4 weeks. What am I missing? Slightly high ERA and low K's/9 but seems like he was worth a roster spot in a 10 team AL only league.
