It is so good to find information from other men that were on the USS Twining
My dad served aboard the USS Twining from I think 1951-1955. My dad was Don Truesdell. My dad was so proud of his time spent in the military. My biggest regret is that I didn't ask him to tell me more about his time served during this era. He passed away in March 2003. I was so close to him and I think of him everyday. I loved him so much. I have some pictures of the Twining and several group pictures. You can't believe how I feel since I found this link to other men that were on the Twining. I would love to hear from any of you to just talk about your memories. Like I said, my dad was so precious to me and I miss him so much. A piece of me died the day he died. Please - whoever gets this message I would love to hear from you.
