Nite_Owl, I don't think the "Football Gods" look after the Ravens the way they do the Steelers. ;)

For you NRA members out there...did you see where Littlestown made the "Armed Citizen" section in this month's magazine?

Well, Cynic beat me to it.

Here is an article from American Rifleman Magazine's "Armed Citizen" section on the guy in Littlestown that shot the guy trying to steal his OXYCOTIN.

Though they don't actually mention L-town by name.

Can anyone tell me what the duties of the Mayor of a town really are?

major mom

This is out of the Borough web site.

The Mayor's main function is to control the day-to-day activities of the Littlestown Police Department. Other duties - perform marriages; administer oaths of office and affirmations in matters pertaining to Borough affairs; and to serve as the representative of the municipal government at community activities. The Mayor serves as the people's spokesman to the Borough of Littlestown.

To all our former neighbors and friends, have a safe and Happy Halloween tomorrow.

Gonna be rainy and chilly here, but it doesn't really matter. In the years we've lived here, we've never had a trick or treater. Its too daggone far and too darn dark (and really spooky) to walk here in the hills for just a piece of candy.

The little communities are different, I'm sure, but in the rural areas - nuttin'.

When we lived in Heritage Hills I, we used to go through at least a dozen bags of candy - until Kennies Market started their little shindigs. Things dropped off after that.
