Well, Cynic beat me to it.

Here is an article from American Rifleman Magazine's "Armed Citizen" section on the guy in Littlestown that shot the guy trying to steal his OXYCOTIN.

Though they don't actually mention L-town by name.

For you NRA members out there...did you see where Littlestown made the "Armed Citizen" section in this month's magazine?

Nite_Owl, I don't think the "Football Gods" look after the Ravens the way they do the Steelers. ;)

Mar Those Ravens are always looming in the background though.

October is Fire Prevention Month. Do you have working smoke detectors in your home?

Capricorn! You said it best there, those type of people that head up or play into the rumor mill do fuel off of pure speculation! I guess its a easy way for them to not check the closet that they own. Maybe it makes them feel so much better. Either way it can potentionaly hurt someone which isnt nice either.

However, I sure hope that you (poison tongue) moved away from them. Rise above it and you will be the one to shine.

"poison tongue", actually knowing what they're talking about doesn't come into play when it comes to those in the rumor mill. Speculation (usually wild) is what fuels their world. Facts are usually too boring.

cynic

Neither one is quite right, but they are not green but more the color of the first one & shaped more like the second one but much uglier. I didn't notice an odor of any kind when I squashed the one that was inside. There was just one on the outside of my screen again earlier & I just take my finger & flick him off into the wild blue yonder from the inside. That's my recreation for the moment. I guess the next thing will be the mice that sneak in when we open the garage door. They visit every year & last year one had ventured upstairs & went scurrying right between my feet & down the steps like a flash. It takes awhile to get them all but we usually do. Wish I could just send all these critters down to the wilds with your deer & other pets.

As for "passing the peace", I certainly have no objection to doing it verbally, but with things as they are, I think we should omit the handshaking & hugging during the flu season.

It becomes VERY sad when you go out to watch a game in this town and can not even sit and enjoy it without hearing poison from a couple of people in the stands! I ask you, why is it that there are people that try to pull other people into the poison?? Do they not see that it makes them look ridiculous?

Better yet, maybe they should check the skeletons in their own closets before trying to drag others into it, I am sure we all have them. They should also check to see who is around them before they feel free to do such things. It only takes a couple of people or even one to ruin an otherwise perfectly good game!!

Sorry, had to vent! Thank you.
