Stumbled onto a new site that could save you loads of cash. It does the normal vouchers and coupons but also has a catalog of products. When a product is found it supplies the merchant, cashbasck or comission and any special offers relevant to the merchant. Worth a look

Update on the Cashback money making game: here is the link to join free if you missed it - http://www.greasypalm.co.uk/r/?l=367899

Further to the recent bulletin relating to the cashback that can be made via the above site, I am pleased to confirm that the Nat West home insurance cashback offer IS a genuine offer and it DOES pay out. Having just taken out a new home contents policy, the full £70 cashback has now been credited. I have to admit that I was surprised at this as I had assumed that it would be £70 for combined house and contents insurance, however I was wrong. I bought contents only and they still paid the entire amount. That brings this month's total, so far, to £182 and there are still nine more days to go until the end of the month.

If anyone decides to try greasing their palms with cashback, please let us know how you are doing. I am updating the webpage at http://www.scottishmultimedia.co.uk/earn.htm to record our findings on various spare cash making schemes so feel free to bookmark the page.

UPDATE ON THE 4K PER YEAR CHALLENGE
There are now a total of 122 people registered as part NYK Media's 'Live on £4000 for a year' challenge over on the moneysavingexpert site. If you haven't yet investigated and are not familiar with Martin Lewis, then tune in to Channel 5 on Wednesday nights at 7.30pm where 'It Pays to Watch'. Shaving pounds off your grocery budgets, claiming back unfair bank and credit card charges, reclaiming payment protection insurance, keeping chickens, switching your soap powder for soap nuts, becoming a credit card tart and 'stoozing' at 2.5% interest from a credit card to bank it high interest at 6.41% are just a few of the things being done right now by serious dosh lovers both online and off. Believe it or not, we've even got a group on there pursuing the free hobby of papier mache after introducing all and sundry to 'Phil the Pig' and 'Penny Penguin'. All going well, you should be able to see those happy characters at http://www.philthepig.co.uk which is a brand new website in the making. In true Cyberdosh fashion, the site was FREE to register, it's FREE to build (it's a work in progress) and I also got a few loyalty points for registering to join - FREE!

For anyone within the Wigtownshire area, don't forget that you can use your Cyberdosh card to claim a 10% discount on all your beauty treatments at 'Mirror, Mirror Beauty' in Hair Do's, South Main Street, Wigtown. Just quote your card number when booking and present card when paying.

CYBERDOSH SAVERS

So far, so good - how is your 2008 Cyberdosh Challenge going?

As part of the 'Live on £4000 for a year' challenge group, I would just like to say that I am absolutely delighted by the response for 2008. Right now, there are 121 challengers battling it out to stay within their annual budgets, and 'phase 2' of the project has already kicked into play, with many opting to go one step further and attempt to earn an extra £10 PER DAY through Internet transactions (cyberdoshing). Being sceptical, I refused to believe this was possible without selling goods or services. To earn an extra £10 over and above everything else, EVERY DAY, seemed impossible! I have been well and truly proven wrong!

How is it possible to earn £10 from nothing every day for a month? Or a year?! We decided to find out and began by registering with the following http://www.greasypalm.co.uk/r/?l=367899 The link will take you to what is called Greasypalm. Since 1st January 2008, I have managed to raise over £110 using this site alone! NEVER pay full price for anything. ALWAYS look for discounts and always expect cashback - don't be scared to have a little fun along the way.

Household insurance - check your renewal dates and use Greasypalm to claim cashback. In some cases, the cashback has been almost as much as the policy itself!

Credit cards - time to make sure you are making the most of 0% interest for balance transfers and cashback wherever it's available - apply for your new card and get up to £22.50 cashback. Tried and tested - it works! £22.50 paid out. There are people transferring balances everywhere right now for as little as 2.5% and then stashing all that cash in high interest accounts paying over 6% interest. even if it's only and extra £25-30 per year earned, it is another 10p per day off your £10. Not looking quite so impossible now, is it? And we haven't even started on sales via personal websiytes or the likes of eBid, eBay, GreenMetropolis, Amazon or Play.com

Gambling - we never advocate gambling except in extraordinary circumstances. As an example - we signed up for Jackpotjoy through the Greasypalm account, paid in £10 and THEY PAID US £21 by way of a thank you for signing up in the first place! What's more, they also met the stake money, which meant another £10 to 'play' with and, to my utter amazement, this turned into £65 within about 15 minutes. DON'T FORGET TO QUIT WHILE YOU'RE AHEAD. Withdraw the winnings, bank them and hey presto - a clear profit just for registering to play some games. They don't allow you to withdraw the 'free' stakemoney, so make sure you play throw enough to withdraw all your winnings. There are several sites similar to this one that allows you to do the same. Fee cash is never to be scoffed at no matter how little it may first appear to be.

By simply clicking through a few links, completing a few surveys, sorting out credit cards and playing a few games, we looks set to hit £200 this month alone. I was aiming for £135.50 because that would mean this year's television license is bought & paid for in full. Instead, it looks like I've cyberdoshed enough to pay the TV license AND the home insurance!

Don't forget to use this link > http://www.greasypalm.co.uk/r/?l=367899 < and help to support Cyberdosh.

Next target - does anyone reading this bulletin smoke? Cutting down by 5 cigarettes per day amounts to a saving of around £500 over the year! That's like earning a minimum £1.12 per day if you smoke one of the cheapest brands and leaves only £8.88 left to make it £10. (This could be known as the 888 challenge.)

On top of that there will be the www.eBid.net sales, so it is not too difficult to see how a few hours spent at your computer searching for dosh online can amount to over £300 a month. Top that up with freebies, a few competition entries and making the most of bargains as they become available is really setting you off in the right direction. Now, all we need are some sales.

PS: I've found www.hotukdeals.com to be a great site for bargain news and www.dialwise.co.uk will save you a fortune on International phone calls.

Don't forget to post any deals you may spot right here on the boards for us all to share. I recommend you visit www.cyberdosh.com and click through to 'messageboards' rather than respond by email.

More updates soon. Until then, have a great cyberdoshing time.

WELCOME TO THE CYBERDOSH CHALLENGE 2008

You will receive these news bulletins via email if you subscribed free to Cyberdosh.

Hello and welcome Cyberdoshers.

January 2008 is well and truly here and, to make things interesting, we are asking each member to take part in this simple, introductory challenge to help kick off 2008.

Most of us are here for a reason - we want to earn more money or we want to save more money. For some, we want to do both!

In 2007, we officially introduced the 'Live on £4000' challenge, which was a great success. Owing to that success, the same challenge was re-issued on the 17th December 2007 via www.moneysavingexpert.com where it now has it's own section in the forums and, amazingly, it has attracted 111 eager participants for 2008. That challenge has been visited 44,765 times, to date, within the space of luss than 3 weeks! You can keep up to date with those 'frugal living' folks by going to http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=640131
(Don't forget to watch Martin Lewis at his best on Wednesday evening, Channel 5, at 7.30pm - watch out for those money saving expert challengers on TV!)

For those of you who are hoping to increase your income, increase business turnover or generally seek out new potential ways to earn more in 2008 we have a nice, simple, introductory challenge for you and it starts immediately. The object is to select items you have for sale with a cost value of no more than £10. It could be £10 worth of existing stock, it could be items gathered up from around the house during a decluttering exercise or it could even be items you picked up at a local charity shop or jumble sale. To make it more interesting, you could even make your own items, so long as the overall cost does not exceed £10. Why £10? Well, we are challenging you to sell them online and to make it fair, we would like everyone to start off on a level playing field. It doesn't matter how many items you have in total, but at the end of the challenge your final sales total will be reduced by £10 to calculate profit. Once you have selected/purchased/found or made your items, we are challenging you to sell them online by midnight 31st January 2008.

Once organised, list your items on this messageboard along with links to wherever you are selling them so we can link them to our Cyberdosh 'special offers' page. If you have never attempted to sell online before, you can try it free by using the 'Sell Online' button at the right hand side of http://www.cyberdosh.com main page.

This is our 'winter warm-up' exercise and we'll be including all contenders and results in the newsletter.

Good luck and please feel free to ask any questions here.

Happy New Year to everyone!!! Or as they say in New Zealand...Happy New Year everyone!!!!
McDade here! Well 2008 is here and what will it bring you?

For me so far it has brought me a hell of a hangover spree. Studying for exams. Long hair, nice skin thanks to my clinique products for men bought for me by my lovely girlfriend Gillian.

Still to come for me in 2008: Moving into my new flat on 9th Feb due to repairs to the flat. i would have been in by now. Going to see the legendary Frankie Boyle in Kilmarnock Grand Hall on February 15th. Going to London to see Phantom of the Opera on 29th February with Gillian. Then off for 10 days to the maldives in may with Gillian. Then in september i am off to see the Mighty Boosh Live. Also a divorce, a house sale and a custody battle will be in the post too no doubt.

Until then, this is your roving reporter mcdade saying "chikachikaaaaooowww!"

Happy New Year!

I've just finished working out my total sales on eBid over the past 12 months and while pleasantly surprised, I've realised I'm going to have to put in a lot of work to hit my target for the SAS Challenge.

My SAS target for 2008 is to increase my turnover on eBid 300%.

If anyone wants to help me reach my target while making ridiculous savings on quality jewellery, you can find my shop here CMEJewellery. My January sale is now on and you can save an extra 25% on all purchases paid for by Google Checkout, bank transfer, cheque or postal order.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! WELCOME TO 2008!

Happy New Year and welcome to the 2008 year of Cyberdosh. Ww wish you every success and hope that you achieve everything you have set out as your main goals.

Whether you are participating in the 'Live on £4000 for a year' challenge, aiming to set up a new business or aiming to increase your income, 2008 willbe a hectic year. HOWEVER, if there is no feedback then we have absolutely no way of finding out who is, indeed, taking part. Please consider documenting some sort of progress here.

All entries to the above challenges have now been closed and no new memberships will be accepted. Thanks to all who have joined us both here and elsewhere. The 'Live on £4000 for a year' challenge has managed to generate over 100 participants!

Good luck to all and have a great 'Cyberdosh' year!

WE WON!

As you all know, I always recommend the use of Martin Lewis' website and have several threads on there pertaining to various challenges. I recently pointed out to all Cyberdoshers that last year's challenge - Live on £4000 - has been carried over to 2008 because of the demand. Well, I have just found out that the 'Live on £4000 a Year Challenge' discussion forum has been chosen as THE DEBT FREE WANNABE CHAT OF THE WEEK! This also means that it was included in Martin's weekly money tip newsletter, so I am expecting to see several more new 'players' in this particular money 'game' very soon.

The following is a link to this week's newsletter, which is a great source of information. http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/tips/28-12-2007/

NYK Media is delighted that so many people have found the subject interesting and special thanks to the other 44 challengers who have made it possible to have 'chat of the week' bestowed upon us by the great moneysaver himself, Martin Lewis.

Back to business - have you completed your budget charts and are you prepared to 'come out' as a Cyberdosher just yet?

Cyberdosh Challenge 2008 Update

Please do not respond to this message via email. Instead, you should go via the www.cyberdosh.com website and click the messageboards link. Thank you.

Well, that's Christmas Day been and gone, I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and had a relaxing 'Boxing Day'.

The challenge preparations are really hotting up now and interest is still growing. We now have 34 members signed up to participate in the SAS Elite Challenge and 45 signed up to take part in the 'Live for £4000 a year' challenge, which has been carried on from 2007 because of demand.

eBid online auction members will be able to follow the progress of the selling challenge on site at www.ebid.net in the 'Promote eBid and eBid Stores' section of the forums plus there is a special thread in the www.moneysavingexpert.com forums dedicated entirely to living on £4000 for the year. Owing to family circumstances, such as numbers of adults and children per household, allowances have been made, with the top challenge target set, so far, at £6,500. The vast majority have opted for a budget of £4000 excluding rent/mortgage, council tax/water rates and essential work-related travel.

As explained before, the Cyberdosh SAS Elite Challenge entails setting your own target figure of what extra amount you are aiming to earn or save between 1st January and 31st December 2008. As an example, the following is the basis for my own entry into this challenge:

Generate an extra £3000 of new business/sales from nothing. I have allowed myself start-up costs of £50 but will need to recoup the £50 before contributing towards my target figure.

I'll be making everything available for sale via the eBid online auctions by utilising their free to list, fee free selling options. All promotions, merchandising and advertising will need to be generated free of charge if it is for the purposes of generating extra dosh. No mean feat, I can assure you.

If you already have a business running or are already employed, then your aim should be to increase your income by whatever means you think possible or to reduce your outgoings in order to save your target amount. This is to enable those people who are already in fulltime employment to take part in all that 2008 has to offer. Hopefully, those offering items for sale will be able to help those who are trying to save, by having their products included in our newsletters and made available to other REGISTERED Cyberdosh members at a discounted price.

That's about it for this update. Make sure you have your budgets and other calculations done before New Year and HAVE FUN!

Feel free to post your aims, targets, progress on the messageboards for others to share in your successes and offer moral support when it's needed.

GOOD LUCK! There are no winners or losers in this challenge, only those with a will to succeed.

Please do not respond to this news bulletin via email. You are receiving this because you registered via Cyberdosh.

Merry Christmas from Cyberdosh

It won't be long now before it's out with the old and in with the new, then all good Cyberdoshers know that it's the beginning of a brand new challenge. Hopefully, those of you who have followed previous challenges are getting to grips with their savings and their income targets.

I'm delighted to say that over 50 individuals have already opted to follow the 2008 SAS Elite Challenge and there will also be a repeat of the 2007, "Live on £4000 for a Year" Challenge. For anyone participating in both, it could mean a double whammy where their finances are concerned.

Anyone who is new to the wacky Cyberdosh challenges should also consider visiting the Money Saving Expert website, as this is where the 'Live on £4000 a year' challenge has been issued. The thread was started on the 17th December and has already generated 35 willing participants, most setting their targets on the £4,000 and others making allowances for larger families. For NYK, the target remains at £4000. You can follow the antics of that challenge at http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=640131

Meanwhile, we will do our best to keep you up to date with progress here and hopefully tempt someone, somewhere, to take the plunge and actually post on this forum! Remember, it's the SAS Elite Challenge for 2008. You need to set your own target for earnings, extra earnings or savings and then run your 'campaign' with the aim of succeeding by 31/12/2008

Over on the eBid online auction site, we have seen many ideas thrashed out for marketing and advertising suggestions, all of which can be utilised by individual sellers. What ideas do YOU have? How would YOU go about setting up a new enterprise? How would YOU go about generating new business and new income? To find out more about the bargain buying and selling opportunities on eBid, check out www.ebid.net

As we prepare to set out on our 2008 journey, anything that is made available through NYK Media will also be made available for sale through the Cyberdosh online stores. As a member of Cyberdosh, you will be entitled to various discounts when using your Cyberdosh Membership Card. The final batch of cards are now ready and will be with you before New Year. Each carries a barcode that can be used anywhere you see the PayPoint sign. For anyone interested in accepting PayPoint cash payments through their new or existing online business, we can recommend www.credecard.com

There was no printed newsletter in December, but watch out for the first of the next 10 editions in January. Registered members will receive their copies in the post and, as always, advertising slots will be available to book online through our Cyberdosh store. For Cyberdosh cardholders there will be extra discounts, promotions and the chance of some 'freebies' when you choose to use your card.

There isn't a great deal more I can say about next year's Cyberdosh venture other than we hope you enjoy being a part of it and to wish you every success in achieving whatever goals you may set yourselves.

Watch out for those 2008 Cyberdosh cards dropping through your doors between now and the 31st December 2007.

Merry Christmas to all!

CYBERDOSH CRAZY CHRISTMAS BARGAIN

I'm offering a brand new digital MP3 / MP4 player at the insane price of £1 NO RESERVE in this wacky Cyberdosh auction listing! Check it out at http://www.cyberdosh.com
It's 100% genuine and it's especially for Christmas bargain hunters, but there is only one! and it's PINK.

There are just so many downloads and we need all the available 'artillery' to round them up, patrol them and save them ready for our lugs to savour that audio flavour and our eyes to feast on those visual delights! Ok, that's a load of codswallop, but the MP3/MP4 player for £1 is right enough because, apparently, I'm a bit mad and love to practically give things away.

Anyway, the other reason I'm offering this crazy bid bargain is because I would LOVE "I Fought the Lloyds" music video by Oystar, featuring Martin Lewis, to make it into the charts in January! This is my way of ensuring you can carry it with you and play it to your bank manager next time he or she harrasses you about charges... It's the bank charge protest song and it's taking the nation by storm!! :)

CYBERDOSH 2008 CHALLENGE PRELIMINARY NOTES

We're working furiously preparing for the next big Cyberdosh challenge. For anyone who is serious about taking part, we recommend that you download the free Cyberdosh cash sheet to enable you to work out your own target figures for the 2008 challenge.

We have now uploaded the new, very simple to use, 2008 spreadsheet. This is also available on site at www.cyberdosh.com
It has been preset at £4,000, which was the figure we were dealing with throughout 2007. This figure can be changed ONLY once you have calculated your own budget via the above mentioned cash sheet and set your target. At that point, you simply change the £4,000 figure in the top left hand box (under January) and save the changes to your own computer. The document has been loaded as an excel spreadsheet, which should automatically calculate the balance of what you need to earn to meet your target as you progress throughout the coming year. It is based on a day to day turnover. This spreadsheet can be used either to calculate spending on a budget, as was this year's challenge, or for calculating how much you need to earn each week to succeed in achieving your personal goal. All you need to do is alter the top left figure in January for it to reset to your chosen target figure. Do not alter any other numbers in any of the coloured boxes.

If at all possible, have your cash sheet completed before the end of December so you are ready to begin afresh on 1st January with the brand new challenge. If you have any questions relating to Cyberdosh or the templates, please post them in this forum. These messages automatically go out to the people registered to receive them, but anyone can join in the discussions at any time and the world has access to this forum. If you would prefer to keep your email address confidential, then visit the boards rather than post questions or responses via email.

Remember... this is only the beginning. If you have chosen to join us in this, some may say bizarre, challenge, then be prepared! Everything is not always as it seems. The only thing that is guaranteed is the fact that this challenge is about making money.

Website at www.cyberdosh.com
It's not too late to join us and joining is free, so what have you got to lose?

Cyberdosh 2008 Challenge

Dear Cyberdosh fans, friends and financial wizards,

As we fast approach the year's end, we have only 5 weeks left until 2008. I think it's time to explain about the next challenge. But first, let me say that the 2007 challenge being documented by Shona Prophett is on target, so it looks as though it is perfectly achieveable to live on £4,000 per year (excluding mortgage/rent and council tax).

2008 is going to be different because it isn't as simple as tightening up the purse strings and living on a budget. The 2008 Challenge is probably much more difficult because it is about finding innovative new ways to INCREASE your income. In fact, next year's challenge is, without a doubt, the most difficult we have ever set. (For new members, you should be aware that we have been organising similar challenges since 1999.)
We already know that it's possible to live on £4,000 for a year, so let's see how much of that you can actually raise from scratch. There are no golden rules, it is a case of implementing your own plan of action and documenting it as you go. To get you started, it is probably easiest if you look out your old budget sheets, or download a new one from www.cyberdosh.com and that way you'll be able to work out how much more you NEED to earn or how much more you WANT to earn.
There will be updates posted here with hints and suggestions and it would be nice to think that someone may pluck up the courage to add their own comments, thoughts or progress reports. There are many other sites providing similar facilities and concepts but I can guarantee you that Cyberdosh is unique!

Owing to our own involvement with eBid online auctions (www.ebid.net), we run a Cyberdosh thread in their forums. There's also a thread on Martin Lewis' money saving expert website, called 'up your income'.

This entire Cyberdosh project will be open to the scrutiny of anyone who ventures onto any of the associated websites. The whole concept is to 'UP' your income by a pre-set amount, which will be your target figure for the year. The challenge is aimed at the self employed, new start businesses, and homeworkers.
YOU decide what YOUR target is going to be.
WE will provide you with as much FREE help and support as can be mustered. WE will be providing FREE advertising for our active members via our web site and the printed monthly newsletters.
YOU will need to provide the information and evidence that you really ARE trying to increase your earnings, because we'll all be featuring our own running totals on site.
As an example, my personal target is £3,000 by 31st December 2008 but I have already generated £12 towards this total whilst running an online trial. My running total appears as £12/£3000.
It is also worth noting that you can include this progress figure in your MSE forum signatures.

We have now printed the first of the Cyberdosh discount cards, so there should be one with each of you soon. I am hoping that we can start off with at least 20 participants who will be willing to take part in the documented challenge. As you'll see by the subscribers number at top left of this page, we have only 47 people from whom to choose. If you would like to be considered, please complete the 'JOIN' form on site at www.cyberdosh.com

I look forward to hearing from you all and wish everyone luck with their plans for 2008. Guaranteed, it's going to be one tough challenge building a new business, improving on an existing one or just, generally increasing your income in whichever way you choose. Other than the fact that it must be legal and it must be declared, there are no rules.

Don't forget that you MUST register as self-employed with the Inland Revenue for tax and National Insurance purposes if you are going to be working at generating income. (It's simple and free to register.) Even if you are already in full-time or part-time employment, you should still register with the tax office as self-employed. You can be both at the same time and, depending on how the figures pan out, it could be to your benefit in the long run!

Start researching your possibilities, prepare your 2008 budgets, work on your new business plans and GOOD LUCK TO ALL.
