Larryfest benefits the Kickapoo Valley Acoustic Music Association (KVAMA), which gives scholarships and holds an annual songwriters’ contest.

Concert organizers encourage artists/songwriters to submit their work to the Kickapoo Valley Acoustic Music Association songwriter contest. Cash scholarships, instruments and gear are awarded from various sponsors, such as Dave's Guitar in La Crosse, String Swing, and others.

The contest is open to all ages and genres of music so all are welcome. The deadline for entry is just a few weeks away. More information can be obtained at www.kvama.org.

Larryfest is held on a 60-acre parcel of land off 24 Valley Road, just off the Kickapoo Valley Reserve in Vernon County.

The man whose name is on the festival – Larry Sebranek – is not really a household word or a performer, but he and his brothers have organized the fest.

LARRYFEST IS LOOKING
FOR ARTISTS/DESIGNERS

We would like to encourage artists to submit drawings or designs to be utilized on LarryFest apparel (t-shirts). One design will be selected and printed on Larryfest t-shirts with the artist's permission.

The LarryFest (KVAMA) organization will be searching for designs that focus on the theme of the music festival. The primary focus should include the name of the festival (LarryFest) and a theme with a musical focus (instruments of the bluegrass/folk genre or other ideas that relate to our rural location and history).

The artist will receive two tickets to the festival ($70.00 value) and their art work will be displayed at the LarryFest. All entries should be post marked by June 28, 2006. Please do not send original drawings because we will be unable to return them to you. If your design is selected we will contact you directly to obtain permission to use your work.

To submit your drawing or design please click on this link to print off a form to be submited with your design for review: LarryFest Design Form
