Hi, Dan.

Just a quick note to let you know that seven of your biggest fans are going to be in LaCrosse on December 15 and 16. Any chance you might be playing somewhere in the area on either of these nights?

If not, could you please go ahead and book something . . . .

Hope you and Mary are doing well.

LARRYFEST IS LOOKING
FOR ARTISTS/DESIGNERS

We would like to encourage artists to submit drawings or designs to be utilized on LarryFest apparel (t-shirts). One design will be selected and printed on Larryfest t-shirts with the artist's permission.

The LarryFest (KVAMA) organization will be searching for designs that focus on the theme of the music festival. The primary focus should include the name of the festival (LarryFest) and a theme with a musical focus (instruments of the bluegrass/folk genre or other ideas that relate to our rural location and history).

The artist will receive two tickets to the festival ($70.00 value) and their art work will be displayed at the LarryFest. All entries should be post marked by June 28, 2006. Please do not send original drawings because we will be unable to return them to you. If your design is selected we will contact you directly to obtain permission to use your work.

To submit your drawing or design please click on this link to print off a form to be submited with your design for review: LarryFest Design Form

I first heard Dan play a year ago at The Pump House with John Smith. It was the first show my wife and I went to. Dan's playing really impressed me and got me more excited about the guitar. My daughter and I started playing in feb. 2005. Now my wife is starting to play. If you have the chance to see Dan play, DO IT! You will love every minute of it! My wife and I have been to over 90 shows of different local performers including Dan in the last year! He is a wonderful performer and person. Dwayne C. Wilder

I read about Dan and the others on OnMilwaukee.com and really plan on seeing at least some of them as we vacation this summer around the state. Your presence in cyberspace helps those of us who like to follow what is going on in state entertainment keep track of things. I hope more is done on out-state performers.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Dan since kindergarten...yes, kindergarten. While I know you can't tell from our youthful good looks...that was a long time ago. In those days his head was too big for his body (just look at some of the old pictures) but nowadays the only that is too big is his heart. He is one of the most talented individuals I have ever known and one of the most giving people I have ever met. My life's greatest memories (aside from getting married and having a son...just in case my wife reads this) are the one's I have spent on stage with Dan in the rock band or the trio. If you get a chance, come and see him sometime and you'll understand what everyone means when they talk about his talent. Then come up and request a song, because he'll probably know it. Thanks for the memories Zeb!

Dan is about as great a person (both musically and personality-wise) as any professional musician could ever hope for. I've been fortunate enough to hire him in The Snake River Band and to work with him in a duo format several times over the 15 years we've known each other. I love this guy! - for all the right reasons. I'm just as happy (maybe happier) listening to him play from an audience perspective as performing with him. He's a monsterous talent.

I first met Dan's music when he played his Christmas Medley for our family. In the dark evening with the Christmas lights shining, our entire family including teenagers were softly singing along to his sweet christmas carols. I have seen him all across the midwest since then and he is just sweet and fabulous. Once you hear him and especially see him live, you become mezmerized and spoiled to the point where other talentel musicians just don't add up. His virtuosic versatility is unmatched.
