Back 2 Basics (brought to you by JAM)

Please set your calendars for upcoming Back 2 Basics events. This coming Tuesday (Oct 6) is the start of the "needle group" at 93 Main St. (in the cabin) from 7:00-9:00 pm. Bring your sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, etc. Everyone welcome, from beginners to experts. The needle group meets every 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month.

Next Saturday, the 10th we have a special outing scheduled. Tom Rabbit is opening his home-made greenhouse for us to tour. Maybe we all can meet in front of the Merc at 1:00 pm and drive together to Tom's house. If you are interested in greenhouse construction from recycled materials, this is for you.

On October 13th, Ben Perry is giving a Beer Brewing Demonstration, just in time for Octoberfest. Ben worked at a beer brewery and has been brewing beer for several years. This will take place at his house in the Bar-K area at 7:30 pm, Tues., Oct 13. If you need directions, please email or call me at 3o3 442 eighteen68, javayneatjimtowndotorg.

These events are open to everyone and I would welcome any suggestions for upcoming events. For now, get back to basics.

All ages welcome (especially little tikes!) -- Free for Camp Jim members or $5 suggested donation per family for all others.

We are hoping for a large attendance as Camp Jim has hired this special puppetmaster to share his talents with us! Hope to see you there!

A big thanks to Ben & Julie Perry for hosting the homebrewing demonstration last night. A huge thanks to Ben for a highly informative and entertaining overview of beer making. He gave a wonderful demonstration and his knowledge of beer and beer making is boundless. If anyone has any questions on beer, Ben is the beer expert.
