Please come to the NEXT PUPPET SHOW on Wednesday, November 11th from 1-2 p.m. at Jamestown School gym featuring Mark Hellerstein of Puppets & Things on Strings performing a 45-minute show incorporating marionettes, hand puppets, ventriloquism, and side-splitting comedy! Free for Camp Jim members or a $5 suggested donation per family for all others. All ages welcome, especially the little tikes! This show will be less instruction and more audience interaction.

Back 2 Basics Reminder

Tonight is the "Needle group" at 93 Main St, Jamestown, 7:00-9:00 pm. Some tools will be available and some books with ideas will be on hand. Come one, come all.

Back 2 Basics (brought to you by JAM)

Please set your calendars for upcoming Back 2 Basics events. This coming Tuesday (Oct 6) is the start of the "needle group" at 93 Main St. (in the cabin) from 7:00-9:00 pm. Bring your sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, etc. Everyone welcome, from beginners to experts. The needle group meets every 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month.

Next Saturday, the 10th we have a special outing scheduled. Tom Rabbit is opening his home-made greenhouse for us to tour. Maybe we all can meet in front of the Merc at 1:00 pm and drive together to Tom's house. If you are interested in greenhouse construction from recycled materials, this is for you.

On October 13th, Ben Perry is giving a Beer Brewing Demonstration, just in time for Octoberfest. Ben worked at a beer brewery and has been brewing beer for several years. These events are open to everyone and I would welcome any suggestions for upcoming events. For now, get back to basics.
