How do we keep "ak" "sf" and "jim" off our QT with their advertisements? Clearly spam - grrrrr!

Back 2 Basics Update
Due to unforeseen circumstances, our presenter for this Tuesday's "Baking at Altitude" demonstration will be out of town so the demonstration is postponed until a later date. We will keep you all informed as to updated schedule, so keep watching the QT.
Reminder, if anyone has any skills, talents, or knowledge that would fit into our Back 2 Basics agenda and would like to share these talents, please call JaVayne at 3o3-442-eighteen68.

I would love to teach a Back 2 Basics yoga class for JAM. Back to Basics workshops are my favorite to teach. Let me know if you would have any interest.

Cali- Javayne Jenkins is heading up the B2B Workshops. She is out of town most of this week. I'm sure she will get back to you when she returns. What are your areas of expertise?

Hi Friends!
Please SAVE THIS DATE and plan to COME WITH ME (or meet me for any amount of time) to see Tommy's band live...please don't make me sit alone in a crowd with no one I know (boo hoo...I ain't too proud to beg!)! It's relatively close in proximity and starts early for the convenience of us old folks PLUS it would be nice to go giggin' together as a whole group! Also, the more people that come, the more the band gets paid AND the more future gigs they can secure here. As if all that isn't enticing enough, there will be a special guest singing with them during one of their sets. So, see you on...
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 26th @ 7 p.m. (music starts promptly at 8 p.m.) BURNS TWICE at the Eagle Grill @ 1600 Hover Road in Longmont
I'll send reminder messages as the date approaches. Line up those babysitters, set up those carpools, and come join us for some fun!
This band has many other gigs coming up...check 'em out at www.burnstwice.com
Thanks for supporting our local musicians!

Laura, I am in. I really like Tommy's band (big fan of that southern/tex-mex ROCK. I will try to recruit Drew & Jill to come down from Berthoud for it.
Cheers

Mark your calendar for our annual LOVE POETRY Night.
Monday, February 15th at 6:30.
Bring love poems you wrote or can't live without, and Listen, Share, Enjoy.
Sponsored by JAM Love at First Sight by Jennifer Maier
You always hear about it a waitress serves a man two eggs over easy and she says to the cashier, That is the man I'm going to marry, and she does. Or a man spies a woman at a baseball game; she is blond and wearing a blue headband, and, being a man, he doesn't say this or even think it, but his heart is a homing bird winging to her perch, and next thing you know they're building birdhouses in the garage. How do they know, these auspicious lovers? They are like passengers on a yellow bus painted with the dreams of innumerable lifetimes, a packet of sepia postcards in their pocket. And who's to say they haven't traveled backward for centuries through borderless lands, only to arrive at this roadside attraction where Chance meets Necessity and says, What time do you get off?

Back 2 Basics update
The needle group is set to meet tonight at 93 Main St., from 7-9 pm at Stephanie Carlson's. Use the main entrance to the house (not through the cabin). The needle group will also have a special gathering on the Jan. 21st from 2-4 pm for a quilt demonstration by Stephanie Carlson at 93 Main, so mark your calendars.
Coming soon is a vegetarian cooking demonstration, so keep an eye on the QT.

Hi all, Here's a heads-up on the town hall. Hopefully Boulder county will give final CO next week and we can begin moving in. So with that scenario in mind. We will be using the following two Saturdays (13, 20th - 1 PM) to do this. I'd like to use the 13th to re-install the curtains, lights, window covers etc and then on the 20th the big move in of all the stuff in the storage pods. We really need everyone's help so if you can commit or enlist volunteers for the 13th it would be great. Please contact myself or Beth B. regarding this. On the 20th I'd like to see all on hands deck to help with big move in. This will be our scheduled Feb. JAM meeting/work party as previously planned. Remember, this is a community project so I'm counting on everyone being there to help. Please talk it up throughout the community. Moving out last summer was made easy by having so many helpers. We've spent many years to get to this point and it's time for the final push to make our town hall and JAM venue the reality we've dreamed of.
I will post all this on the JT and Bar-K QTs when I get the final word from the contractor.

POETRY NIGHT @ THE MERC FEATURING LOVE POETRY MONDAY, FEB 15TH AT 6:30PM SPONSORED BY JAM
Ex-Boyfriends by Kim Addonizio
They hang around, hitting on your friends or else you never hear from them again. They call when they're drunk, or finally get sober,
they're passing through town and want dinner, they take your hand across the table, kiss you when you come back from the bathroom.
They were your loves, your victims, your good dogs or bad boys, and they're over you now. one writes a book in which a woman
who sounds suspiciously like you is the first to be sadistically dismembered by a serial killer. They're getting married
and want you to be the first to know, or they've been fired and need a loan, their new girlfriend hates you,
they say they don't miss you but show up in your dreams, calling to you from the shoeboxes where they're buried in rows in your basement.
Some nights you find one floating into bed with you, propped on an elbow, giving you a look of fascination, a look that says I can't believe
I've found you. It's the same way your current boyfriend gazed at you last night, before he pulled the plug on the tiny white lights
above the bed, and moved against you in the dark broken occasionally by the faint restless arcs of headlights from the freeway's passing trucks,
the big rigs that travel and travel, hauling their loads between cities, warehouses, following the familiar routes of their loneliness.

CORRECTION: Sorry but it seems I jumped the gun for Sat. Feb. 13. We WILL NOT move that day however I am holding out hope for either the 20th or 27th depending on final inspection date. I'll keep you posted as soon as I know. If you need to schedule other things we all understand, but if you can keep those dates in light pencil, it will be appreciated.
