Lovers Rock @ Brant Rock, is that whats left of original lovers rock, today, there are boring hole marks in that rock on the beach, was the rock downsized when the jetty was built or possibly when the engineers built the Coast Guard tower, what year, anybody?

     Thanks,

on the photo can anyone identify the location of that photograph. If you look beyond two eating you can see the base of the jetti on Brant Rock's beach and lovers rock would have been on the other side of the wall.

regarding the photo & question "Can anyone identify the location where this photograph was taken?"

I would suggest that it very well may be taken from Island Street, somewhere near the bottom end of Thomas St or Bradford St, looking up towards the houses along Ocean St. Hard to say for sure.

Visit the Wood Hill Farm old family photos of Brant Rock 1960-1970. Don't click on Brant Rock History. Takes forever to download.

TONIGHT - Tues November 28, 2006

7 or 7:30 PM - Cable Channel 15

Last night's BPW meeting that included discussion of "Status of Sunrise Beach cleanup and ramp issue access" will be aired on local cable access channel 15.

Many THANKs to BPW chairman Bob Shaughnessy for keeping his word.
Today, SM Lynch and Vine Associates inspected Sunrise Beach. Hopefully the debris will be removed quickly.

Unfortunately it was made quite clear that we must continue to battle Jeb Deloach to resolve the ramp issues that the DPW bungled from day 1.
Watch the show!

My favorite quote from the meeting is:
"Construction debris is not litter."
R. Jeb Deloach

Monday October 2, 2006 - 7:15 PM BPW Meeting
Marshfield MA Board of Public Works is meeting at 7:15 PM on Monday October 2, 2006 to discuss issues including the Sunrise Beach - Brook/Foster Ave Beach Access Ramp. This public meeting will be held in Hearing Room 3 of Marshfield Town Hall.

I urge all Sunrise Beach & Ocean Bluff residents to attend this pulic meeting. This may be our last chance to get the Marshfield DPW to enforce the 2005 seawall contract with SM Lynch Corp.

Hope to see you there!
