Hi all. Does anyone have the email address of Daly Waters Pub ? I'd like to make a room reservation for my trip to Australia next August.. Another question: is it ok to drive from Daly Waters to Alice Springs in one day or it's too much distance ? They should be 900 km.

thanx

Hi

Does anyone know what happened to Jamie Herdman, last seen in Daly Waters? Sounds like his family would really like to know what has happened to him. Ring Crimestoppers 1800 333 000 if you know anything.

$16 for 2 x scooners is a bit [lot] to much.

In the towns and pubs its just $8/$10 range

Cheers

One thing that daly waters owners dont have is manners, or respect for backpackers or travellers or outsiders who dont belong to the northern territory. If u want a good time........ and your not a local... DONT GO THERE!!!.... however if u are narrow minded..... GO THERE! FILL UR BOOTS!!! :) enjoy! (unlikely)

I worked at Daly Water Pub for 3 months from September 2006 and I have nothing but good things to say about the whole setup and people. The owners were good people who would give anyone a chance and were very welcoming.

Its a place to put on your journey. Go there, even if its for a quick beer, you'll love it!!

Were there in 2005 and can only praise the crew at daly waters, my brother and his grown kids were there last july and only had total praise for the pub and its crew. can't wait to get back there again was hoping for this year but looks like itn will be next year as have to go under the knife.as for respect for travellers and the like as i saw it most of the crew were travellers and without the travellers they wouldn't survive. The only thing that hits my mind is what did you do/say that would rile up the locals. Have found in my 35 years of travels you have to look at the whole picture not just the on e side. we found the territorians and the people of the kimberley some of the most welcoming and assisting people in australia. can't wait to get back and see frank and those wedge tails.
happy travels

We stayed in one of the cabins that are on site and it was reasonably priced and very comfortable. We loved our stay and enjoyed the n'tertainment at the beef and barra night which I highly recommend. Fab prices and the wine and beer cold. Lots of lovely irish people serving behind the bar. We loved every minute of us and loved the wood carving we purchased.

Fantastic, I also can't wait to go back one day.

Brilliant. The beef and barra worth every cent. Stayed on our way north to Darwin. Loved it so much stayed there again on the way back south! Loads of character and found everyone there very friendly.
