Flynn,yes there are FT positions all over the Country.You just have to go to reassignment opportunities and click on each region.You will be amazed what is there.

To Flynn and any others looking to transfer: I was a PTF City carrier for 12 years in a small office.I kept getting passed over for FT and finally went on ereassign to reassignment opportunities and found my FT position in another craft.There are several FT vacancies around the Country in all crafts.I know not everybody can relocate.I was fortunate to be able to do so.Hope this helps some.It was a blessing to me.As some of you know from some of my previous posts I am not a big fan of NALC because I basically feel-and always will-that they abandoned ship on their very own PTFs when those PTFs needed them most.I can say for me I only got FT Regular because I was pro-active and searched the vacancies out myself.So anyway to any and all:Check out ereassign .You might be surprised what is there and don't be afraid to put a request in-you can always change your mind if you decide later you don't want it.Good Luck.

Any carriers in the Atlanta area-Are there any good offices to transfer with OT I am A Ptf -where the carriers dont do One and a half hour pivots and let the sup.tell them half is undertime.That is how they do here in North Florida

If the postmaster says he put in the paperwork and you do not trust him is there a way to verify that the paperwork is in for conversion from PTF to regular.

21yrptf, this happened to me when I went reg. You will need to call Eagan And talk to them. Have them look at previous pay check and current check. I tried grievance and it got no where. Called Eagan and it was fixed in 2 minutes.

Hey 21Yrprt mine was right. I actually got two new form 50s on the same day. One for my step increase and one for the conversion. Hopefully you get your pay issues resolved without to much trouble.

Hey Turd, and everyone who recently made regular. Did you check your 50 to make sure it's correct? When I looked at mine they had dropped my step down. I have been at top step O for 12 years and when I got my form it had me at N. Fighting about it now with postmaster because she is an idiot and defends everything without actually having any knowledge. Probably wil just end up grieving it.

You are right, but you made the "mistake" of going in for a few hours to help. You gave them an inch, now they want a mile.
Point out that you are not required to work, so either they let you work on your terms or you won't work at all.

You are right. they cannot force you to work. I would contact your union prez and if nothing gets done contact your NBA. Don't the carriers in your office want the OT?
