/m4377Thanks for the answer, that's what we thought too. We're being told this guy is going to be a "utility" guy. He's going to pick up auxiliary help for rural carriers, help do clerk work, and if needed, carry city relays too.
Mgnt says they can do this because it's a emergency situation and he'll likely be gone after Christmas.
The RCA's say they don't need him. We are short a clerk, and our office is small. I'm the only PTF and on a hold down "until further notice". If we want a day off, an RCA carries a route for us.
This really doesn't bother us as we're used to it and understand that they are just trying to make a living too. We're just not to keen on the idea of a TRC coming in a taking hours we would rather give to RCA's who know the routes.
