David /m2856 -- it says the same thing in the M-41. "Normal" means (Dictionary.com) 1. conforming to the standard or the common type; usual; not abnormal; regular; natural.
2. serving to establish a standard.

If they are telling you to not do it, the burden is on them to show it is not a "normal" situation.

Does anyone know where I can find it in writing that carriers are allowed to put parcels in delivery order upon loading the truck. I see in the m-39 it says "normally" this is the way it is done but I was wondering if there is antyhing else that talks about this being the correct way.

Maddage, I have transfered 2 times through ereassign. If your in review that means that HR in the office you want a transfer to has reached your name on erreassign and is building a packet to send to that offices PM. It would be smart to contact that postmaster to let them know why you want a transfer and try to get any info on haw long it will be. The POSTMASTER has all of the control. If you are a good employee, you are well on your way. GOOD LUCK!

probably not a bad idea. I scanned the box and instead of the *****'s I normally see, I got LLLLLLLLL's.
Had a hell of a time scanning packages, MSP's and certs.

/m2851 No,But I always scan the collection boxes twice and review them to make sure they are in the scanner.Seems like a waste of time, but to my supervisors this is the most important part of my job.

The Transfer Memo (Found in Article 12 of the Contract) states:

"E. Installation heads considering employees for reassignment will
contact the installation head of the losing installation and arrange
for mutually agreeable reassignment and reporting dates. A minimum
of thirty days’ notice to the losing office will be afforded.
Except in the event of unusual circumstances at the losing installations,
reasonable time will be provided to allow the installation
time to fill vacancies, however, this time should not exceed ninety
days."

So, your current office can hold you for a minimum of 30 days, and a maximum of 90. Your current Postmaster makes the decision, but must have a valid reason for holding you longer than 30 days. Of course, your PM can also waive the 30 day minimum, and allow you to go earlier if he/she wishes.

Ive been searching for info on ereassign and this is the only place Ive seen it even slightly mentioned. Even my supervisor doesnt know. When you are accepted to another office, how long does your current office hold you?
Is it 30, 60, 90 days? Thanks if anyone can help or tell me where I can find this out!
