Jeannine: sure. At what stage is the problem?

I've run into a strange problem. I cannot sign into my Yahoo mail. After I put in my name and password it takes me to the page that says "Page Cannot be Found" by Aim Channel or something like that. Any ideas? My Internet Security needs to be renewed. Could that have something to do with it?

Probably not. Try a different browser. Also, run Spybot, Ad Aware or Spyware Doctor.

I'm going to look back to remember how to change my browser. If it hasn't improved I may need your assistance on Wed. The problem is occuring with quite a few pages that I try to go to.

i guess i have to connect the page and i don't know how to locate it on my personal site or how to get it to play for me

Faye – I have considerable confidence now in Dreamweaver and have moved on to flash/ fireworks. I want to be able to take a group of small jpeg images and by moving the cursor over them have a larger image appear in a table but not roll over and not open another html page . all of which I can do..
1. I created a web photoablum in Dreamweaver ,not photoshop which offered not enough control over the background etc which put images at 72dpi into fireworks where I can change the size etc..
2. I also have a file of larger images waiting to go,
3. I looked in the book but I am lost. If you sent me a tutorial at one point can you resend it?
4. Now what?

Faye look at the UN vido on my portfolio site. It plays choppy like Meg said hers did. What in the world is wrong here?

Jeannine, you can copy the movie from "my Videos" and paste it in your personal site, either in a new folder or as a stand alone. Then make a page where you will have a link for it. Finally put it up. It may not play if you use F-12. But it should otherwise.

Check out my message # 308. When I went to the video workshop with Dave VanEsselstein he had me save the movie as: Video for Broadband (512 kbps). He said that it was a better choice than the DV-AVI (NTSC) setting. You might have to title the video a different name when saving it because Dreamweaver usually gives you a message that says there is already a file with this name. Once I resaved the movie (in my MR site), and reconnected it in Dreamweaver (by going to Insert, Media, Plug-In and found the new file), my video played correctly. Hope this helps!

Bruce: the answer is not Dreamweaver. You will need some basic Flash before you can do what you want to do.

Faye that didn't. What in flash do I need to do? What do I look up in the book? What would you call what I need to do? or do I just move a ball around ,trust that a light bulb will go off above my head? I can trust.

adding quick time movies to web- it sounds easy but on the mac in Expert settings.there are too many choices. Faye can you check out imovie and tell me the best settings?

Thanks Meg I was able to movie up without a hitch. I wanted to do that quickly because I left my power cord at school and it was great. So happy. Work coming to completion. Donna the site went up well I did organize well and when I copied files I only lost two pics. Thanks for your cleanup advice it does really work to the benefit of the creator.

MY LAPTOP JUST FEll off my bed and the disk compartment fell off. is there some where i can bring it to have it repaired? faye should i turn my firewall on?
