Hey if you have trouble starting the internet just try it a couple of times. If that dosen't work shutdown the airport wait a minute then restart the airport. If all else fails restart the computer and try it then. And if you're just having a bad day and it still dosen't work ask a teacher.

I thought both poems were very good. "Oranges" was very peacful and beautiful. "Chicago" was fierce and brilliant. I think Chicago was better because it captured my attention. The words have so much power.

Hi Katherine, the teachers and tech team do the random checks. We look to make sure that you are not going to sites that your teachers and parents would not want you to go to. That's about it.

What do we use to clean the laptops agian?

Hi Ben, Mr. Ott has cleaning supplies for the laptops. The screen and tracking pad have a special cleaner. The rest of the laptop has a different cleaning solution.

I'm not sure if Mr. Ott or Mrs. Weaver has the little vacuum to clean under the keys. Ask Ott, and if he doesn't, then go to Weaver.

how do we turn in homework on the computer

You turn in homework by dragging the file to the teacher's folder that is located near your trash can on your dock. A science assignment will be dragged to Mr. Ott's folder, a math assignment to Mr. Roddy's folder, etc. If you need help setting up folders, please see a teacher.

Hi Kelly, you can get to the internet easily if you have wireless Internet. If you don't you'll have to plug in your phone line into your computer and dial up. It all depends on your Internet service. AOL? Yahoo? What do you have?

Hey Kelly, If your parents don't want you to tie up the phone lines with your computer you can go to some place like Starbucks or some other hotspot that has wireless internet.

To check your grade you go to your teachers web site. They should have a link like student grades or something. Then you type in your password in your hour. Then your grades will show up.

Yes, you can have backgrounds. I don't think you can download screen savers though. As far as buying the computer, you will not be able to buy them at the end of the year. The school will use them in some capacity next year.

There is not a team newsletter like at Steger and some of the elementary schools. We have websites for all of that information. Also, if there are any problems with your computers, the first step is always to restart the computer. That means hold down the apple button, the control button, and then push the power button. That usually clears everything and resets the computer. If that does not work, tell a teacher.

Each of the teachers' sites have team information on them and the school page has team information on it in addition to school information.

You can hook up a camera by hooking it up like a normal camera then go to either image capture, iPhoto or iMovie if it is for that then you can import it from there

Also if you select more than 1 picture in iPhoto and click background you get a window that says something i can't remember than it says prefrences and than apply or somthing click that

It does not cost anything to have your compter fixed.

Also if your computer is running out of battery, you can hit F1 to dim your screen and you will save battery that way

Logan- on KeyNote you have to go to inspector. It is up by the Text button. When you go there you click iTunes library and then select your song.
