Printer-Friendly Page
We have gone "PRO", with quicktopic. Which, as you can see, allows for customization. QTP allows for many admin features that you will never see. For you the user you can now post pictures with your posts as needed. We are only allowed 5Megs so keep image files small 75-100K. Images can be deleted to free up space however. In order to save space all post prior to January 1, 2009 will be deleted. In the next few weeks all TCRC boards will require a password to post. This has been a long time coming and will insure that only those who have registered can use the board. There will be no charge for use of the board or a password.

Correction for the Shady Valley Ride tomorrow morning - It leaves from Dungan Chapel Baptist Church. If the overflow lot is full, we will park across the street.

Lots of good food and good conversaton at the TBRA Celebration of champions banquet in Nashvegas. George was very easy going and seemed to be having a good time as well. TCRC took home lots of hardware especially considering the size of the membership. Two first place, two second place, and three third place TBAR awards went to the club. Additionally there were lots of gold, silver and bronze medals for specific RR/TT/Crit. WELL DONE ALL! Now lets rest, rebuild and reload for next year.

Ralph, it was great to see you there and congratulations on your award! You might want to note though that your first picture is not of TCRC members but of ETJC. Our juniors who won awards were Alex Dayton, Jessee Stidham, Andrew Bailey, and Jared Lambert. TCRC had five 1st place, three 2nd place, seven 3rd place and one state jersey. Congrats to EVERYONE!!

What: Saturday Group Ride - The Pink Ribbon

When: 9/26/09

Where: Meet at JCMC Same Day Surgery parking lot

Time: Ride begins at 9:00am

Route: 100, 80, 50, 25 or 7 miles (rider’s choice)

Distance: Depends on the route you choose

Pace: However fast/slow you want to go…or determined by the group you’re riding with

Notes: This TCRC sponsored event is a fund raiser for a worthy cause and certainly something we should all try to support if possible. Registration opens at 7:00am. This ride is NOT dependent on the weather. So rain or shine, come out and ride as a show of support for the cause and the club. This is certainly a good reason to get wet. Hope to see you there!

I wanted to take the time to thank you guys for today’s Pink Ribbon Ride. It was my first century ride and it did not seem that bad but I don’t think I could have done one that had any worse conditions. Even with all the rain, cold and fog oh and did I say rain; it was very enjoyable and satisfying to be able to complete it. I started not to do the ride because of the rain, but cancer seems to touch everyone eventually. Being a three time cancer survivor my self and my father passing away with cancer I know first hand how difficult it can be on families emotionally and financially. Thanks again for the great ride and I look forward to next year.

David, congratulations on finishing your first century! You have HUGE bragging rights since the Pink Ribbon is one of the hardest and the conditions were so tough! Thanks so much for coming.
