Natalie Whitlock is looking for volunteers to work the Possum ride on July 12th. They need corner marshals and various other people to help out.

Alex is not doing the Possum - he's going to try to save something for the crit on Sunday, so he's going to help out - I probably will too. If you can help, contact Natalie at the # below -

Ginger, Gilligan, and the rest of the Minnow crew, here is a link from Susi's GPS with the ride data. Wow! That was a feat of strength worthy of Festivus!

Thanks Susi.

If some of you have not seen the video coverage at velonews dot com you should check it out. Excellent footage of a ride consisting of many Chipotle guys along with Hincapie and others

Independence Day Ride: Just in case the average speed might have skeered some of you, the Bailyton route is almost completely flat so a 17 average is not out of reach for most people

Hello All,

Ruby Tuesdays, just down the street from Buck's Pizza, has invited the TNR crowd to come enjoy the post ride meal at their restaurant. There will be extra staff on board for faster service. If you would like to ease the congestion at Buck's and get home a little sooner, give Ruby Tuesdays a try this Thursday.

Another Race weekend posting.

http://www.abrc.net/french_broad/fbccflyer2008.pdf

Here is a link the the French Broad Classic in Asheville. It falls the week between the Kingsport Crit and the State TT/Jeff Roth weekends. Looks like they are not having the RR this year and are going to have a TT and two crits. Interestingly, the TT is Friday evening and falling 8 days before the TN state TT this might be of interest to those competing in Lebanon. The TT in Asheville (actually Marshall, NC) is a 20k out and back (same one used for the Asheville TT series) with similar terrain to the State Championship course. Looks like the TT is pre-reg only.

Anyone interested in a Saturday morning Tour de Possum Creek ride, preferably at race pace (2 hours, or close)? We can start at the school or somewhere else if you want more miles or warmup.

Just post back here or e-mail me.
