Since everybody is giving medical advise, can someone tell me how to cure the common cold, montazumas revenge, and dried chicken in a 1000 watt microwave?

Leeches... cover your leg with them. It's obvious that the swelling is the issue and the leeches will bring the swelling down. If you can't find leeches at CVS, look for the poor mans leech, the mosquito. If the leeches don't work, it's probably all just in your head, so to get it out, try trepanning. I also understand that miracle cures for other problems like laetrile and thalidomide have positive crossover effects with other injuries. I am not a doctor and if you follow this advice, you will never be one either.

Ice until the swelling goes down, then heat. Wrap with ace bandage and elevate when you are resting, do light stretch, I am not a doctor these are things that worked for me and do some light stretching.

zack- if there is notable swelling then seek medical attention other wise ice for 20 min on 20 min off stretch and elevate if possible. And I understood Scott's message perfectly

I'm not sure if I should just delete Flash's "Beautiful Mind" coded post, or leave it up for the inevitably funny responses. I guess I'll give it a few hours.

...like toes... calves can also be gnawed off. As long as you test well.

Sorry about the last message, hit the wrong button. This is the type of injury that should be evaluated by your physician. Calf pain after exercise may be as simple as a atrain but could also be a more important, entity like a partial Achilles tendon tear. The treatment is very different, as is the way to evaluate it.

If it turns black/blue, go to a doctor. If it is just a strained muscle, drink plenty of water. If it really hurts, you should go to a doctor. Not staying off of it when you should have stayed off of it will only result in you having to stay off it for even longer when you finally realize you should have stayed off of it. I am not a doctor. Go see a real one if it hurts.

Hello, just wondering if anyone had any tips for a pulled calf muscle. I was running on the Treadmill before work this morning when i got a shooting pain in my claf, I stopped and stretched it for a while, now it just hurts when putting weight on the foot. if possible do not include resting/waiting in your answer because i am hoping to test on sunday and would rather not spend the week before sitting on my butt lol. any advise is appretiated (would icing or heating help?)

Hi guys just wanted to share one of the early UFC fights that has always impressed me. Keith Hackey fighting a much larger opponent. He eventually wins the fight using hammer blows to the back of Emmanuel Yarborugh's head. Hackney broke his hand in this fight. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zhQb_nkR0U

Our free-standing heavy bags will be available for sale at a ridiculous discount: $35 each!!! If you would like one, send an email to KMLI@verizon.net or let us know at the school. We have to make room for our new hanging bags!
