ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. Sparring Class has resumed on Tuesday evenings. As an exciting new development, KMLI instructors will be teaching Sparring on a rotating basis, so there will be a lot of new and challenging skills and drills to work on! (Paul taught a very cool Sparring class last night!)

2. Power Punch class (Sundays at 10:35 AM) will also be taught by a variety of instructors (we all wanted a shot at teaching it from time to time!)-- so again, look for a lot of new approaches to punching drills.

3. KOMBAT WOMEN class resumes this Sunday (2/7) at 2:00 PM. Instructor Amy M. has a lot of experience--and a ton of great ideas--for teaching Long Island's women how to be safe, how to defend themselves, and how to have a fantastic time training!

4. Remember that FIGHT Class is now moved to Saturday mornings at 9:35 AM, right after LEVEL 1 at 8:35 AM (replaces Basic Combatives). Frank's classes are always inspired--and inspiring--and we'd love to see you on the mats for that class (Yellow belt & above).

5. Be sure to check out the new schedule, which will be on the website by tomorrow (Thursday) morning. Hard copies are available at the desk. ALSO, if you have not yet registered for Text Message Alerts (i.e. class cancellations, special events, and so on), be sure to do so-- the people who have registered so far have been happy to get these updates right on their phones. Hello Everyone--Remember that we are now on the revised schedule. Look for it on line as of late tonight (Thursday) or early tomorrow morning.

don't forget tommorow, saturday , new schedule level 1 8;35 followed by fight class. those of you taking fight class for the first time you will need --headgear, boxing gloves, mouth piece and mma gloves if you have them . see you all on the mats tomorrow bright and early

As usual, the weather-people got it wrong about the snow for our area. Still, in case the weather ever IS really bad and we have to cancel classes, wouldn't you like to be notified with a text message to your cell phone? It's easy to sign up for this KMLI service. Hey all you Orange belts (and above)! We'd love to see you on the mats for Sunday morning Level 3! It's a great way to start your Sunday!

I see that the latest predictions for Long Island are that we'll be getting eleven feet of snow (or around 10 - 20 inches, to be more "precise"). In any case, if KMLI will be closed for any reason, we will send text messages to those who are signed up for that FANTASTIC SERVICE. We'll also post it on the Forum...but it's a lot more efficient to get a text.

Hey guys, for anyone who took a new schedule, the Tuesday 8:45 Sparring classes HAVE started (including tonight). Please disregard the note in your schedule that says it starts in April!
