Hi everyone! It's been a while! I've been drumming up support for the Habitat/Intrepid trips and I have convinced a few people to go on the July trip - think Mel will be the Team Leader for that one? One of the girls going is organising a fundraiser on Sunday May 28 from 5-7.30pm and I thought why not make it a bit of a reunion for the Sydney people as well?! If any of you are interested, please get in touch. The cost is $30 and this includes a concert (her friends perform contemporary and classical music) and finger food. Our DVD and some photos may even get a show and if any of you are interested in sharing your experiences with the group, that would also be great. Hope to be able to see some of you there! Yes, Mel and Jenny, the Xmas puds (Plural) were a great success, and we managed to get coins from every test playing nation except Bangladesh! We had 10 people for the pre Xmas dinner, from all over the place, and a pleasant evening it was too.

Clarke is now scouring the Intrepid website for his next adventure - I'm hoping it won't be too energetic!

Hi Everyone and welcome to 2006!! Ah its going to be another fantastic year. I hope you all had a lovely time over the Christmas and New Year period. I ate and drank way too much (as you do) but had a great time relaxing and not doing too much at all.

So, Sue & Clarke - how were the puds? Gab & Sam - how was Christmas in your new place? Cherene - have you finished renovating? When are the housewarming drinks? And Tera, how are your butterflies? Wedding bells aren't too far away!

I'm looking forward to seeing some of you again at the Team Leader training next week, it should be a great day!

Hi Guys
 I trust everyone is well. Does anyone have a Sri Lankan coin that they do not need and could send to us? I put all ours in the charity collection at the airport and now find that I need one for the Christmas pudding. Traditionally we put coins in the pudding and this year I am doing the theme of test playing nations. I found in my box a 1944 Celon 25 cents but I would like to hang on to it. I would like to get the coin before the 10th December if possible.

That's great Shar! I think there are some great team leaders that will come from our team to Sri Lanka. I'd love to go back there myself but you guys will get there before me.

Tomorrow's Team Leader Training has been postponed until 14th January, same time, same place. A few more people will be able to make the new date and I'm still feeling a bit under the weather myself.

Just got an email from Marcus! He went back to Colorado for a week holiday to refresh and see his family. We were trying to get some photos of the completed houses in Unawatuna, maybe soon, still trying.

I wont be able to make Habitat training this weekend as I will be camping on the Central Coast. However please keep me posted as to when further training sessions will be on as I am definitely interested.
