Please feel free to comment on Azazel Jacob's 'Nobody Needs To Know' movie, as hosted on LegalTorrents.com.

This looks like a great film, however the it has been badly de-interlaced, and so is hard to watch. It would be great if somebody re-packed it properly.

It is fantastic that a film of this quality gets to be CC'ed.

Hey Rombie, thanks for your interest and good words. I had help making the Divx from someone who is just too busy to deal with it again, but if you, or anybody out there, could help me get the film into better quality, it would be greatly appreciated. Even with just some clear instructions I'd give it a spin.

Firstly, I would be happy to do the ripping myself and send the result back, if someone posted me the source (DVD?).

The most important thing to get started on is "what is the source?". PAL or NTSC, Size of frame e.t.c.

As a quick look at the file currently on offer:

*There might be problems with telecine (due to NTSC DVD source)
*The frames have been reduced in size a bit too much.
*De-Interlacing has possibly not been done properly (but might just be the telecine effect)

A tcprobe -i gives the following data:
  
frame size: -g 480x256 [720x576] (*)
frame rate: -f 29.970 [25.000] frc=4 (*)

I think this shows an NTSC source coverted to 25fps.
