We've homeschooled for 5 years, with intermittent trial periods in the schools. We gave up on public school a long time ago, after giving it every chance. We're convinced that public school is a hopeless mess.

Homeschool is faster, better and smarter.

During one of our public school trial periods in 4th grade, my son went to his ELA teacher and asked for more spelling words. She refused, explaining that if she gave HIM more spelling words then she'd have to give the OTHER kids more spelling words too. (typical example)

Nevermind, people. I'll do it myself.

Diane, a woman will NEVER be president. Now, go back in the kitchen and be a good little housewife.

The "Big Dig" is God's way of punishing Boston for all the liberals it has given America.

After reviewing hundreds of home schooling cases and the students
thereof, we have found that study after study has shown that home schooled children are far behind when they are tested.
Our conclusions after exaustive studies is that the parents have
allowed the students to use their school study books to take the tests and that in a lot of cases the parents have actually done the tests for them. In some cases using hidden earphones to give the answers.
