Gracious Father,
RV has so much upon her plate right now. We see upcoming changes and in all areas that we need Your guidance and blessings upon.
We ask You in the arena of employment that You might send a position that would be perfect for her to not just make a living, but where she could see a glimmer of her serving you. We take it that the current position has come to an end, You have shut that door, but so that You might open another that is of greater opportunity. We put our trust in You to provide an income within a stimulating environment. We thank You that when we have doubt or fear, we have Your promise to be our Provider. We ask in the name of Jesus to see this come to pass and that speedily.
We ask for Your blessing upon her continual education. May that certification be completed. May that education be valuable and used. May she know Your hand was upon her this entire academic period.
Looking ahead of these basic needs we look to marriage and family. We know it alone will only come to pass if we seek to glorify You in the choice of partner and in the desire to dedicate children to Your name. Bless, Lord and fill the desire of RV's heart to walk with You and to have her desires fulfilled.
In the precious name of Jesus, we are claiming that You will have Your way, and You will find her rejoicing over each answer. Amen

I need prayer for my life to come together. In a month I will be unemployed and I have no offers on the table right now. I also need to finish school and I would (with GOD'S permission) get married and start a family. Please remember me. Thanks. RV

Gracious God, we ask You to be with Annemarie and walk her through the uncertain times. Help her to firmly clasp Your hand and she walks in Your power to overcome her fears. Calm her, comfort her and protect her. Grant her spiritual growth in Your Kingdom and the perfect love that the Bible describes that casts all off fears. Through Christ who promises never to leave or forsake us. Amen

I have to tell you how beautiful the prayers are and how inspiring they can be. The one by Rachael on 3/31/06 was so touching. I am making it a point to make more time to nourish my soul with these messages. I have work to do on myself, I need the strength to do it and I thank all who contribute for the good that they do with their words. Right now, I have some fear in dealing with some things but I pray that I will gain strength from these readings. Bless all of you.

I was recently made aware that one prayer request that I had posted in this forum was unappreciated. Although this person came for prayer on one of my message boards, they were upset I posted it here without their permission. I post here for a larger audience and gathering of pray-ers. After cooling down and much consideration, I will omit posting on this board from my ministries. Thank you that have been dedicated to prayer.

O Lord, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy; in your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief.
So my spirit grows faint within me; my heart within me is dismayed.
I remember the days of long ago; I meditate on all your works and consider what your hands have done.
I spread out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land.
Answer me quickly, O Lord; my spirit fails.
Do not hide your face from me or I will be like those who go to the pit.
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.
Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
For your name's sake, O Lord, preserve my life; in your righteousness, bring me out of trouble. -Psalm 143

This psalm is the outcry of an overwhelmed spirit that is unable to abide in the highest rate of spiritual prayer. His spirit had grown faint and his heart was distraught. He was completely distressed and literally in tears. However, despite his state, he remembered what God had done in the past, and this helped to renew his strength and faith in God. As he remembered, he stretched out his hands to God and 'thirsted for him like a parched land,' and his prayer suddenly become more impassioned.

Like David, I am certain that we have all reached points in our lives when our spirits have become overwhelmed with worry, pain, doubt, and fear. Maybe you faced financial hardship, heartbreak, a bad report from the doctor, or assault from your enemies. Maybe it was hard to trust God or even see his hand through the pain that clouded your spirits. Whatever the case may be, I want to urge you to remember the days of long ago and meditate on all of God's works and consider what he has done for you in the past. Let this give you the strength to stretch out your hands towards Heaven and passionately cry out to God.

Our prayers are so important because it is through prayer that we connect with Christ and gain the strength to get through any situation we find ourselves in. I charge you to be more honest in your prayers. Don't come to God reciting prayers or trying to be grammar conscious, instead, pour your hearts out and let your prayer be honest and passionate. Prayer should never be just a question and answer session; it should be a spiritually passionate experience that moves you to another realm mentally, spiritually and emotionally. If you ever leave a prayer session feeling the same way you did before you started, then you haven't prayed. So brethren, have you prayed lately?

David prayed and he moved the heart of God and was considered to be a man after God's heart. When you pray, what happens?

Stay blessed in the Lord and spread the word.

In Christ,
Rachael Olorunnisola

Message Board Request from Toni:

Please pray for my mother in law, Betty. She wasn't feeling well this weekend and they finally talked her into going to the ER on Sunday. The doctors found out that she had a mild stroke. They kept her over night and are running multiple tests on her to find out the cause of the stroke and see if surgery is necessary.

Betty is blessed to have children who live close, and her church family around her in her time of need.

Response:

"Father, again we come to you as our Divine Healer. Your child Betty needs a special touch from Your mighty hand. Give the doctors wisdom as they perform tests and develop a treatment plan. Bring Betty back to full and complete health.

We pray this in the matchless name of Jesus, amen."

Let us know how your MIL is doing, Toni.
