Hi Gary,

I just got back from NYC recently and hopped to 3 different places to stay. My favorite was set up by Stay the Night bed & breakfast. They have one building set up like a traditional B&B, but also have apartments set up around NYC in really cute neighborhoods. The place I stayed at was nice, clean and Michael who runs the B&B was super nice. The set ups they have range from $75 to $175 per night. I liked this more than a hotel room because it felt more like my own apartment than a sterile room. Here's their url: http://www.staythenight.com/
