As one of the "founders" of the Mothers-In-Christ group, I guess it is fitting I contribute a short note.
What started out as a prayer-cum-woe-sharing meeting of 3 stay-home mums has now evolved into an organised and dedicated group meeting fortnightly. We journey together as women who recognise the need to draw spiritual "food" for our unique calling as Christian mums. I feel it is so wonderful to meet like-minded women who share similar challenges in life, and who can understand and support us in the difficult choices we have to make.
It's a great group indeed and God continues to bless us with hope, wisdom, love and deep peace. We look forward to welcoming more mothers into the fold.

As a regular member of Mothers-in-Christ, I treasure the fortnightly meetings, where the mothers get together for Scripture readings, reflections, prayers and personal sharings (optional and left to the individual). I always walk out of each meeting with a renewed understanding of God's words as Sister MJ (our spiritual facilitator) always manages to bring the Scripture readings alive. Like Julene, I draw my spiritual "food" through sharing my faith in community with all the other mums.
