Yes, we have registered for the Pan American Junior Championships for both U21 male and female teams, as well as, the 3rd Pan American Cup for both Senior teams. The U21 males have started training and the females will begin soon. Female seniors have also resumed training.

Nicobenz's wishes should be one of the things we consider when going to sponsors for support. Not just at the national level, but even as clubs seeking help. If our respective club has young players who have talent which we want to harness and maintain for the long term, we should examine ways of allocate some of the funds we received for scholarships to Secondary & Tertiary institutions. With an innovative approach this can be achieved. The fraternity of hockey have a lot of business minds who can help individual clubs to structure them when the opportunity arises. Persons like Fabian Stewart, P.D & Bobby Chin, Ryan Whyte, Maj Roderick Rowe, Kingsley Morris, Myrtle Weir, Carol Sewell, Judy Bloomfield, Glen Patrick, Dana-Mae Crawford, Roderick Lue-Shing, Paul Gascoigne, Dennis Lallo, Lloyd Butler, Tricia Castriota and many others are more than capable to guide these opportunities. We must think outside of the "D" when we play hockey, and the same is the case on the BUSINESS end. SELAH..... 5PROGRESS

The JHF seems committed to enter as many International tournaments as is financially possible. The first thing which we all know is that funding is a critical factor. We can always commit to entering competitions every single year, because its just a statement supported by filling out some forms. Secondly, funding will not fall like Manna from the sky, but will be the result of commited and dedicated actions over sustained periods. Not one or two years, or the writing of letters to companies, nor chiding and proding the Board and the respective Fund Raising Committes. It requires character, trustworthiness, and moreso, uncompromising involvement with the process when we have the ability and capacity to contribute to what we purport to love.
