 Where are the Dells made? Not in the USA. Where are the Gateways made? Not in the USA.

However, lets add a chip with a secret code. You send the code to the laptop and it stops working forever. Good way to damage your enemy.

 Honestly, the ignorance of American Congress-critters sometimes defies satirists. Everybody else, surely, knows that the world's PCs are designed, built and assembled in Taiwan and in China?

But no! it's a threat to American security. Unscrupulous Chinese peasants will have access to the cream of US technology!
