Not to be pedantic...

But seeing as how most of my family comes from Paris, Texas, I have to point out that Paris is IN Lamar County, not near it.

And if you have ever seen the setups that these storm spotters use, you would be absolutely amazed, especially when you realize that they do it as a hobby. They put some amazing kit in their vehicles.

See, I don't doubt AT ALL that this wireless Mesh was a darned clever trick. It proves (AFAICS) that the Locustworld Mesh works as advertised: it creates a mesh, and it stays live while one node moves around.

But it's not immediately obvious that you can't do the same trick with simple ground-based Linksys access points.

I suspect the missing point is that if you have a half-dozen ground stations within range, you can collect data simultaneously from all of them with a Mesh. No doubt a Locustworld expert will be along to help out!
