This is the overview with a pointer to a column I wrote for eWeek.com.

We've never even *tried* to stay in Cannes for 3GSM. Last year we were in Juan-Les-Pins. The bus trip in/out isn't so bad, and it's impossible to find anywhere to eat in Cannes during the week. Lots to be said for getting the hell out of the place every evening. This year we managed to get a place in Nice; be interesting to see what the differences are.

Juan-les-Pins is, I think where I was last year! A pretty place... but Nice is nicer (ahem) because of the quick, cheap train service to Cannes!
