NOHL Application forms for the 2007-2008 season were mailed out the latter part of this week (8-23-07), and hence you should be receiving your forms shortly.

If anyone fails to receive their application forms, I would be happy to forward them to you (via mail or email). Please feel free to contact me (email address listed on the website).

Hi guys:

Hope you all had a great summer! The deadline for your application and entry fee is Friday September 14th, 2007 (for the 2007-2008 NOHL season). Please remember, we will be buying ice time this year strictly in relation to the number of applications we receive by the 14th. We can only guarantee roster spots for those who make the deadline.

If you are having trouble with making your first payment, the CCYHA now offers a PayPal payment system. This means you could make your payment with a credit card. You can access this system on the CCYHA web site, www.ccyha.net. If you have any questions regarding this system, please contact Jamie (email address on the NOHL site), or the CCYHA site webmaster. And you must let Jamie and I know of your intention to use this method, by the 14th, to ensure your roster spot.

As always, we intend on trying to keep teams together -- buddies with buddies -- but all new players must be approved, and placement made by league officials. We wish to avoid "stacking" of teams.

If you have a desire to be moved from the team where you played last year, this can be done. Jamie and I will handle this confidentially. Please contact us via our email address listed on the NOHL site, and we can discuss with you making arrangements to be moved to a new team. We are reluctant to do this, but we do not wish to lose a player from the league as a whole.

Finally if anyone has any questions, please feel free to contact Jamie or myself (email address listed on the NOHL site).

Hi guys: Team rosters were set 9-17-07 and all players should have received their team assignment, from their team Captain. If anyone has not yet heard from their Captain, please let me know (contact my email address on the NOHL site).

The NOHL first weekend's schedule is as follows:

Friday 9-21-07

9:10 pm Gold(5) vs. Green (6)
10:20 pm White (3) vs. Blue (4)

Monday 9-24-07

9:40 Red (1) vs. Gray (2)


I will attempt to get the NOHL Master Schedule to Jason ASAP, now that team rosters have been solidified.

Captains: If you have not yet called your players, PLEASE do so. There will be NO refunds to un-informed players for games missed. Please inform your players!!

Hi Guys:

Good luck to all , as the season begins tonight!

Please remember we are extending the payment deadline for 1 week (one game), but ALL WAIVER AND APPLICATION FORMS MUST BE SIGNED AND IN THE POSSESSION OF YOUR TEAM CAPTAIN (or the CCYHA if mailed earlier) before stepping on the ice for your first game played. No exceptions.

Captains: please make sure you have called all your guys. No refunds for missed games for guys "who didn't know".

hey everyone....the new schedule is up on the site(at least) and thank God it doesnt say "Happy St. Patricks day" anymore.......i should have this baby revamped by Sunday. Also, can team captains send me a list of your roster so that i can update the site???

hey all...i just want everyone to know that i'm not being lazy by not having the site updated....for some reason, (only) this website won't let me upload from my laptop, so everything has to be done from the desktop. Now with the desktop, i need more than 20 minutes to myself to get it "done" and "updated." With that being said, and no more excuses, i NEED to have everyone's rosters and scoresheets to date sent to me at hullspad@windstream.net. Preferably by this Saturday night, as i am planning on spending my first and last day off for the next two weeks (Sunday) getting this website updated. So, PLEASE this saturday if you guys can.

Dear all,
I would like to thank you all on behalf of my family for all of your kind words and prayers since the passing of my wife, Natalie.
It means a great deal to me to have your support during this difficult time.
It really helps me to be able to come upto the rink and play, to be a part of a larger family and forget about my problems for at least the duration of the games.
