I was exhausted today and achy. Manny didn't even get up to go out this morning when I got up. LOL He's okay today. The the pad above the paw (guess you could call it his thumb) is the most sensitive spot and he won't let me clean it. He growls, snarls and tries to snap. So far it's gotten just the cursory touch of the antiseptic. I'm hoping by tomorrow he'll let me touch it a little more to clean it a little better. He's not afraid of the spot of the "incident" at all. He went to check out the scene of the crime LOL I'm walking him for now. Last thing we need is another cat fight. My poor baby.

Definitely lighter in the wallet--the bill was $156! Had to pay part of it last night (only had $70 in my wallet) and went back this afternoon to pay the balance.

Hi Guys, Thanks everyone for asking - I'm feeling much better and yes I did Sydney sit. She's almost 10 months old and is quite a little bundle of energy. I wish I could bottle it. Saturday just before we left to come home we took a trip to a local farmstand I have pictures of her and the pumpkins. Some were bigger than she is. I'll post a couple a bit later. Right now I am fighting my photo printer. The paper feed for 4x6 prints isn't working right and I am about ready to hit it with a hammer.

Hitting it with a hammer, eh? OK, you're feeling better! Glad you got a chance to be with the bambina. It's exhausting I know, but sort of boosts you too, I find. Dying to see the pics.

I think I've successfully fought off something. Lord, what a night I had. But now I'm feeling a lot better.

Today is about 80 degrees outside. It's an incredible day in LA, but really weird to be looking at autumnal wreaths and thinking about going to the pool at the same time!

Irish are you say 80 degrees today in LA, it's nice I miss a lot my home and the beautiful days in LA. Enjoy that days.

I am feeling a quart low tonight. Plan to head to bed and hope a good nights sleep is all I need.

The sweet old man who lives next door didn't wake up Thursday morning. He was quite elderly and had a heart valve problem his Doctor didn't want to operate on because of his age so it wasn't unexpected but it has really hit us hard. He was one of those people that in spite of their age you somehow expected them to always be there.

Was that the one with her head thrown back? She does that whenever she is really pleased with something. She starts out with a grin, then into a chuckle and then her head goes back and she does a full belly laugh.

You haven't posted any pics of your Grand in ages. When you get time you need to share a few with us. Speaking of time how far along are you with your classes? Am I remembering right that you are probably about half way now? I'm glad you are getting to take them but we relly miss you here.

Karen, I am feeling fine. I just had a false alarm...probably just tired...felt fine after a good night's sleep.
 
Wheels, how are things going at Duanes hospital with all of the H1N1? Have things quieted down or revved up? The youngest sister of my old roomate died this week from the flu. She was 43 and in good health. She went to the ER friday night with the flu and high fever. Ended up on a ventilator, then septic shock and died Monday. So sad and scary.

Wheels, I remember you talking about this neighbor in the past. I'm sorry. A good neighbor is like part of the family.

And Scarlet, I miss you. Hope school and work are going well.
