It seems like only yesterday that Microsoft made a large firm of consulting accountants an offer they couldn't refuse - adopt Internet Explorer (which back then wasn't very good) over Netscape... and get very substantial discounts on MS Office. Too many suits sign cheques without understanding what they're buying, so they stick to "compatibility" (or "I'll have whatever everyone else is having"...) Getting a major corporate player on your team helps it look like your product is "what everyone else is having". It worked before... it might work again. And I thought you were one of the small band of us who still remembered the days when Microsoft Access was a (not very good) DOS Comms package....
