I am planning to ride from Rome to Buford at the end of July. Is anyone familiar with roads that would have less traffic or a partial shoulder that would provide a little protection. If there is a good route let me know, I am not familiar with the area. Thanks

Looking for road bikers in Augusta, Ga area who want to road ride at a more casual pace (approx 12-13 mph)--to enjoy countryside & "just riding"

Well, I am about 25 miles west of Augusta (Thomson). 12-13 might be a bit slower than I like, but I do enjoy "just riding". Where are you?

We live outside of Evans--ride out Appling, Dearing, Lincolnton & Thomson way a bit --My husband & I average about 13-14 miles per hour when we ride alone--enjoy just getting out on the bikes- & are probably a little older than your average road biker around here. I would like to see a group of casual riders get together regularly for area rides-even with a "destination" like Waffle House (?)---exercise & social outing--maybe encourage others to take up the sport by not intimidating them with youth & speed.

Looking for an older, lugged steel frame or full bike.

Can be road but if you have a track frame, all the better.

Anything from 54-56 cm will likely suffice.
