The site is updated with the information that I have handy. One A game got rescheduled and one C game I am still waiting for the score sheet.
Normally I would not update the site while missing that C sheet, but since this is the first week, I had to reset the webpages anyway, so it really didn't make much difference.
Thanks again for your patience.
If there is a spelling error or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Thanks.

Hey all,
Good news/Bad news/Good news:
Good news: There are a couple of good veteran players being added to the spare list this week, so the shortage of spares from week 1 should be eased a bit from here on in I hope. One of them is a player from a long, long time ago making his return to the fold.
Bad news: I am missing one score sheet still and as you all know, I will not update the site until I have all the sheets. I have put in a request for it, so it should be soon.
Good news: Once the site is updated, all of the important stuff should be updated. All the schedules for each division, all the stats for each division etc, etc.
I will keep you all posted. Thanks for your patience.

I know alot of people that would spare and none that would pay $20.00 to do it.

I have completed the schedules and I am pleased to announce that all teams have the same number of home/away matches and that there are no empty bars and there are no head to head matches that both matches being played at the same location!
The only problem with the schedules is not a big huge thing, but it's something that should be noted nonetheless. In both the B & C divisions there are 4 teams. Normally all teams would play the 3 other teams in their division 3 times and then would have 1 random match in week 10. This would mean you'd play 2 teams 3 times and one team 4 times. Due to circumstances beyond my control, all teams in both divisions will be playing 2 teams 4 times, and 1 team only twice. It looks like a big difference, but when you dissect it, it's only a one game difference. I apologize that this is how it had to be done, but it was the only way to get a seemingly otherwise perfect schedule finished.
I plan on posting the new schedules on the website tomorrow along with the team contact info.
Also, there are already 2 teams (1 B team and 1 new C team) in desperate need of a spare for tomorrow night. If you have an extra player that wouldn't mind helping out either team, or if you know of someone willing to spare, please email me or just leave a message on here. Speaking of spares, it looks like Norm Peel has agreed to play for a team this season and the phone# for Mike Racette has been disconnected. As you all know, as time goes on, the spare list will grow and the information will be corrected.
Thanks again for your cooperation, patience and understanding.
I wish all of you the best of luck!

Have the replacements been replaced by the doctors office? I am not sure where I am supposed to play. Can not seem to see the replacements anywhere. Some help here would be good. Darcy, Garnet if either one of you would give me a phone call on my cell tomorrow(Oct.6) it would be much appreciated.

Hello Marc,
There shouldn't be any league darts being played during your stay here as that would be our break for Christmas & New Years. I can't remember if we start back up on Jan. 5th or 12th. I can't find my notes from the last meeting.
Once I get the league website updated for this season, there will be a link that outlines all the bars that we play at complete with addresses. Hopefully I will have that information up tomorrow. It can be found under Team Information List. You'll know when it's been updated when it has the green 'updated' icon next to it.
Thank you so much for your interest, and if you have any other questions, please feel free to leave a message on here.

Here is a copy of an email I sent out to all team captains tonight: Hey all, Been a really busy weekend I have not been home pretty much all day, so this is the first chance I've had to get on here today. I put up the first 2 weeks of the schedule for all divisions. http://www.darcman.com/RPDL.html I am still working on fixing an error in the A division that messes up all the divisions if I fix it. I'll get it fixed and will get the rest of the schedule up asap. Please don't forget to print off score sheets for this week, there's no guarantees that there will be any left over from last season! Also remember that it is the Captain's responsibility to email an electronic version of the scoresheet (found on the website) or fax it to the number on the sheet (I'm not sure anyone faxes it in anymore, but the odd one does filter through). If you email it, I will send you a quick email confirming that I got your sheet. It's important to get the sheets to me asap! Generally I do the stats on Friday mornings, but if I get the sheets in quicker, then I'll get the stuff up quicker. If I dont' get your sheet at all, I will not be doing the stats for the entire division, and you will look unorganized, not me. PLEASE NOTE! That the fax number is my residence, that means 2 things: 1 - Use some common sense if you are faxing something in. I really don't appreciate the phone ringing at 3am, and neither do my kids! 2 - Someone has to be at home to answer the fax, so if you can give me some advance notice I will ensure that I am around. Normally mornings are the best time. Anytime after 7:30 usually but I prefer before 11pm on weeknights. I think that's it for now, sorry for the delay in the schedules, they are much harder to do than anticipated. If anyone wants to lend a hand fixing one little error, I'd be more than happy to send you the details! LOL Thanks and if anyone has any questions/concerns, please email me or any member of the executive. Darcman

Thanks, Marc... (Buffalo, NY)

Just to keep you all in the loop:
1 - Garnet Cody offered up the use of his soft tip scheduling program to help do the steel tip schedules. Thanks Garnet! Much appreciated. After 2 hours of tinkering with the schedules he found out that even the most sophisticated scheduling programs can't seem to correctly and easily do up our steel tip schedules. There is one major error in the A division schedule which also has a slight impact on the C division schedule. Either way, one team will end up with 6 home games and 4 away games and there is really nothing we can do about it. Hence, the schedules will be held up slightly. I think what I'll do is post the first couple of weeks for you all so that you know where you play etc, for the first couple of weeks. I will do my best to get at least the first couple of weeks of the schedules up sometime tomorrow and I will send out an email to the team captains after I have done so. Please be patient.
2 - After much thought and after looking at the schedules, it may be easier for the scheduling process for the 2nd session if I only move 1 team up/down per division, so now I am leaning that way. It doesn't look like anyone other than Garnet & Vic have any comments to make on the subject, so I'm assuming whatever I decide to do is cool with you guys. I'll keep you posted.
3 - For the 2nd session, it looks like we'll have another venue to use. It will be The Shark Tank Billiards on Dewdney Avenue above Habanos. I believe there is already one team interested in playing there, but if you're interested in moving there for the 2nd session, it'll be first come, first serve.
4 - Please look at the poster for the Sask Open that is on our site.
If anyone has any questions/concerns/comments, please feel free to email me or leave a message on here. Thanks in advance for your patience.

Thank for the comments guys.
What I'd really like to know is if anyone cares/wants/has an objection to my thinking of sending 2 teams up/down for A/B and only 1 up/down for B/C.
Thanks.
