Hello BTHS alumni. I ran across this web page while looking for a yearbook. I was very surprised to find this information, and I believe I know some of you who left messages. Those that I think I remember are: Mike Hammel, Bonnie Mueller, Terry Schau, Sandy Perino, Roger Anna, Dale Zinc, Patti Volkman, Dennis Ellerbrock, Kathy King, and Judith Peters. If any of you check back on this site and remember me, please email me at tdandme@sbcglobal.net. I would enjoy hearing from you. My best friend was Linda Kenner who still lives in Illinois and I am in touch with. I now live in California.

Remember Mike Hammel? Bonnie Mueller? Vaguely - Vaguely and Vaguely...I remember but will have to look up the faces to go with the names. I know we are the same age but, geeez, I feel so old that I can't remember all these people. I kept in touch with Nancy Kaiser for awhile and still occassionally email her. I would love to know what happened to Vicki Cruncleton and Sue Hamilton. This site said there was no reunion planned but comments were questioning it. Is there or isn't there? I'll do a little more searching through the site. Last year would have made more sense than this year. 40 years - where does time go? I'm living in Kansas City or more specifically Shawnee, Kansas. My married name is Lietzke. I had an "illustrious" career in broadcasting as an Art Director, a Marketing Director and radio sales. I walked away from a 30 year career because the industry changed drastically and I didn't want to play anymore. I am now happily selling Fords for an honest, ethical, small dealership - am relatively stress-free (except of course I'm married) - and driving my new Mustang. I have no children just my very spoiled pekeingese, Jazzy Lietzke. Life is good. Cudos to you for doing this web site. It is comforting to know that you are out there:>)

After graduating good old BTHS I worked for a while at Nooter Boiler in St. Louis. Joined the Navy in "67" mainly to avoid being drafted into the army. Got excellent Electronics training in the navy which helped later getting a great job in communications when I finally got out in "71". I got married in 1969 had a daughter "Leslie" in 1970. Moved back to Belleville in 1979. Got divorced in 1985 (that ole mid-life crisis thing. damnit). I got remarried in 1999 to wonderful lady, the former Cathy Fellner of Belleville. That's pretty much a snapshot of my life since BHTS. Today I'm retired, in reasonably good health and trying to live the "Good Life" Finally retired after 30+ yrs with the phone company and I'm really getting into it. Right now I wonder how I ever found the time to actually go to work. There are so many more important things to do.

Hi All- Sorry I missed the reunion but would love to hear all about it. I've been married for 35 years and those years have gone by fast. Jeff and I have two children - Nicole is 30 and will be getting her Master's in psycho-therapy in Sept. and Ben is 23 and going to college to be an RN. I've moved around quite a bit since leaving Belleville after I got married. The last placed I lived was in Dove Canyon, CA. We took early retirement and moved to Bend, OR 2 1/2 yrs ago and love it. Would love to hear from any of you. jklightburn@bendcable.com

Sorry I won't be at the reunion. Sharon and I have been happily married for 34 years and counting. We have 2 children: Emelie (32, married with 2 children) and Adam (killed in an accident in 1998 at the age of 21). Because of my son's death, I became a disaster chaplain with Dept. of Homeland Security and was at 9/11 right after it happened. (things you wish you didn't remember). Did a PhD in 1989 (a mid-life crisis thing). Since 1997, we've lived in the Champaign-Urbana area where I've taught at U of I (go Illini!) and presently serve the 1st United Methodist Church of Urbana. Sharon works as director of Human Resources in the area. Plus, we're near the grandkids!

Hi everyone! I am looking forward to seeing you all again. I am an investigator with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. I have been with the Bureau for 29 years, six months and plan to retire in February 2006. I have been divorced like forever. I moved to Signal Hill two years ago. I have two sons: Chris(36)is married with three daughters (16 1/2) (12 1/2) & (6 1/2). He is a civil engineer,PE (U of I graduate), residing in Belleville. My oldest granddaughter plans to graduate next year from the new Belleville West. My younger son, Patrick is 25 and still lives at home. Parents our age fear their adult children will someday return home to live with them - I fear mine will never leave. I am hoping he will find himself soon before I retire next year.

Married twice; divorced once; that's my limit! My oldest daughter (28) just had a son, so I'm a granddad; my youngest daughter (24) is out of school and working. Both are in the Chicago area. My wife, Suzanne, has a daughter and a son, whose ages are the same as my kids. We struggle with the whole blended family thing, but, overall, life is always good and often better. Looking forward to the reunion!

My husband (Jack) and I will celebrate our 36th Wedding Anniversary July 5th. We have resided and raised our family in Southhaven, MS. We met at Panorama back in '69 while he was stationed at Scott Air Force Base. We were engaged May 1st and married July 5th. In 1973 we had our first child Jennifer. She is married to Jay Kelly and lives in Louisville, KY. She has graced us with 2 precious grandchildren. Anna will be 5 in August and Ryan 3 in November. We are their "Gammy" and "Poppy". Jenniefer has a Marketing Degree from Delta State University in Cleveland, MS. Jennifer and Jay are celebrating 8 years of marriage May 25, 2005. Our son Brent was born in 1977. He is single, an Eagle Scout and a first-time homeowner in Memphis, TN. He lived in Paris, France attending school for a semester. He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesbur, MS with an International Business Degree and minor in French. He speaks fluent French. I am working as a receptionist and office assistant for a family owned business and have been here for 8 years. Hope to retire before age 65. Wish me luck. Just a little bit of news, if anyone is interested. Hope the reunion is wonderful.

I am coming to our 40th class reunion in August. My first marriage produced two sons. I have been remarried with many blessings for 16 years.. My husband's name is Paul. He is an accountant with a local health organization. two sons, Chris and John, are both paramedic/firemen. We have three grandchildren. They are Tyler 9, Natahan 4, Ainsley 31/2 and expecting a fourth in August. I went back to school and received a degree in El. Ed. and a minor in Psychology. I was able to teach for four years and then was diagnosed with Post-Polio Sequale, which eventually forced me to retire. Even though I am retired I feel very blessed with volunteering at church and the Crisis Pregnancy Center, here in Waterloo, IL. Working at the center has shown me more than I ever expected. People who are bruised and broken from the experience of having an abortion need love and forgiveness and acceptance. As a result of the class I teach those women come to realize that yes, the made a mistake. But our Loving Father will forgive us, love us and make us whole again when we accept Him as Our Lord and Savior. I am excited about seeing all of you soon. Thank you Terry.

What a trip this is to read the life stories of my classmates. I can't complain - this life has been awesome -was married twice - got rid of the first one and my second husband Chuck died in 1999. Have worked as a creative director in ad agencies and print shops in St. Louis and Chicago for years - now I freelance, especially for Not-for-profit agencies and am a consumer representative for Illinois Department of Public Health. I have two daughters and 4 gandchildren - both the daughters are back in school (one for psychology, and the other to teach). They just did it backwards, kids first then school. I still do alot of artwork and am still working in photography. Lately writing has been my media of choice. Can't wait to see all of you.
