 This issue is quite important for us, since there is the need to centralize data and information o produce services and distribute data using web services, xml, etc.
There is a strong need to have content available for multiple usages: for example, the database of publications (printed on the web site) is exported in xml to feed the CGIAR/FAO infofinder web site.
About the RSS, maybe only the news could be exported through the rss.
