To Maria, the same thing happened to me, and I'm retired from the Post Office in St. Croix usvi. Our mail gets stolen or lost in PR! They lost 2 containers of Christmas presents about 15 years ago found them 2 years later in with the empty cotainers. Its a joke.

The postal services are very important, especially if you are about to receive important files. For me is very important the security. I recently received my new pin cards. It wouldn`t have been ok if someone else would have see it.

You can be sent within 50 miles but you get gas Form 1164, the Dr's note makes it a violation for them you are on travel restriction covered by fmla, you need to file this with your fegional family leave office and personell, also start a level 2 grievance skip level 1 because this is a direct violation of certain contained things in the Family leave act and also chronic disese section of another Postal thing I forget what its called but it is required to be on the employees board I retired on disability in the USVI and the # was on a clip board by the openings at the time clock. I had chronic issues and on the job injuries. But what these idiots didn'y take seriously was the fact I was a transfer from NJ and took a drp from a level 17 in Finance in Headquarters districk offices, and had over 500 employees I had to learn fast, In the 3 years I ran my ass off doing this in 4 offices at the same time, I had lots of friends and awards. Call you District personell office get address put in writing in triplicate 1 for you one for district and one for Shop steward.

Does anyone know if a PTF clerk can be forced to work additional hours at another same level PO? As far as I know, we have no "pool clerks" and I do not desire more hours than I get at my home office. This has been told to my PM and, due to medical needs of my family, I have a MD's RX stating I am not to travel beyond my home station.

In that case /m880 should be alright, been an OIC since 2009, probably working 40 at least per week.

I think it's the immediate 26 pay periods before your chosen retirement date. The APWU website should have the numbers. I fall into the 1/2 of 15,000 category. Minus taxes and other deductions there isn't much left. Seems like a good idea only if you already had leaving planned.

Another PTF clerk: if you are a PTF clerk, you are not looking at a 15,000 incentive.

It is prorated for PTF's.

Just a ptf clerk - I hear ya. I have been OIC since 2009. I was a PTF in this same office until my position was eliminated in 2008. Then the Postmaster retired and they made me OIC. Can they replace me with a PMR? Will I have a right to apply for the PMR position? Is there a possibility that I could remain in this position as a PTF after the office goes to 6 hours/day? Nobody seems to know. I'm looking at a $15000 incentive if I leave, but not enough money in retirement to get by on, since I have 10 years of part-time. I can't believe that nobody in labor or management seems to know the answer to my questions. And so much of my family's financial security depends on the answer!

It seems that management may not excess the only ptf in an office to make room for a PMR or PSE.
Anyone know which part of the contract reflects this policy?
Thanks

OIC is a higher-level position, so no a PTF cannot be forced into a higher-level position.
