Well, it was almost over. Kind of hanging in shreds . . . Extreme grocery shopping almost caused a total relapse. But I am much better with a good load of corned beef and cabbage inside me.
It was so warm out today I almost opened a window to warm the house up before my bath. Funny little green things are poking out of the ground.

The bronchitis is not over yet. Can't shake it now. Sucks.
At least I have lots of cabbage.

*Sigh* On the good side, I am mostly on top of the bronchitis, even have a bit of a spring in my step. Must be the cabbage ;-)
On some other side, I am in a knock-down drag-out writing discussion with someone who is in too big a hurry to get published. I think I'm helping...

Cabbage is good, but a twice-daily dose of echinacea is even more effective. My vitamin C intake is down again from 12 grams a day to eight or less, and I'm walking a lot faster.
Oy. Tomorrow I have to do some computer tutoring with construction going on in the background. Looking forward to a nice peaceful weekend of computer "open heart surgery", replacing the JAK's Place internet doorstop with something halfway decent. w00t w00t w00t w00t w00t w00t w00t w00t w00t w00t

Back to working on Harry Potter and the Prehistoric Shaman alternately with DWM while I procrastinate about rewriting my battered stillborn query letter. :-(

Um...and editing you-know-what some more. Talk about a neverending story LOL
Now if I could just master the art of sleeping, who knows what I could accomplish.

...but only when it's on somebody else's computer with idiotic default settings. Especially a laptop.
It's not so bad when I can get my hands around its neck and give it a good shake ;-)
The Saga of Silent Bob has been and will be told elsewhere. Suffice it to say I am now running Vista x64 and am rather chuffed to think that for once in my life I have forward compatibility.
But I'm going to miss Mcell horribly. *sob*

w00t! MCell lives! All it needed was a dll. I downloaded the java version and tried it, and got a better error message. All is well. Except I still can't use original formulas in Fractal Explorer. :-(

My newest beta reader is very enthusiastic. And helpful. *grin* I knew a new pair of eyes would be useful. Little details that EC fans take for granted, the small gaps that get away from those who have been there too many times. Small things, but platinum to a perfectionist.

Still a kid in the candy shop with DSL. Listening to a Polish radio station right now, interesting selection of folksy music interspersed with news and whatnot. Sometimes I even know what they're talking about. I just heard something about swine flu.
Reminds me of wa-a-ay back when I used to listen to Canadian stations and picked up a lot of French by osmosis. Can't talk it, but I could read some and catch the basics of speech. I had a litle transistor short-wave radio and I would wearch for distant stations in the insomniac hours of the night. I would then play "guess the language", and I was more often right than not.

Can't see sh*t for a while yet, but the eye pressure tested pretty good today. Field of vision holding steady too. Stats actually improved because I'm quicker with the clicker. LOL
On my way home I did an impromptu photo session. Hope the ics still look good when I can focus. LOL2

AAARRRHHHHGGHHHH Don't ever THINK of setting up a website with GoDaddy. Fscking plastic box crap all over the place and stupid runarounds. I don't want to stick my fingers in there.
