Voting against a contract will not make superseniority go away, it is there not just as a "bennie" for stewards, but as protection for the membership. Superseniority ensures that members are still represented when excessing happens. If your facility has stewards that are all junior, it means they can't get rid of all the stewards and leave the membership with no stewards. Any steward that brags about superseniority and doesn't worry about the members doesn't deserve to be a steward, and that is what elections are for. Elect someone who will put the right people in the office or run for office yourself. Being a steward is a thankless job that is not as easy as many of you think so either get involved or shut the hell up!
