if and when wifi is added to the ipod it needs to be able to integrate with paid wireless networks out there. it needs to be able to play songs directly froma source, not just to download wirelessly.

this is how:
login and password for wireless provider are to be input on PC or Mac and installed into ipod via synchroniztion. wifi providers will begin soon to partner with music content providers. music will be provided to paid subscribers either per song or for a slightly higher monthly fee.

when wifi ipod comes in range of provider's wireless network, user will be promted whether they wish to connect. stored login and password will then be authenticated. user will gain access to music library n providers networks based on their subscription.
