I challenge B Fisher  68
12-02-2005 11:25 PM ET (US)
Tired of playing the same game over and over again?
Get a taste of what might be the "chess of the 21st century" as one International Master put it.
One problem though: the new game requires real talent. "95 percent of all chess players will never be able to play this game well, simply because they can not even play the current, less complicated conventional chess," stated the IM. "I'm afraid Z-Chess will remain a game for Masters and GMs. This new game has so much to offer, it's almost incredible. I'd love to see a match of Z-Chess between two
GMs. Immediately, there would be something to be analysed. Something new and fresh for great minds... And what a challenge it would be for a player like Bobby Fisher. We'll see..."
Anyway, this IM is "hooked" on Z-Chess. He said after about 10 games he began to see the depth and beauty of it and could never again have the same appreciation for the "old stuff ".
"Players are now so bored with chess, they degenerate it by playing perverted variations. Why not try a game of Z-Chess and get hooked on what's really inexhaustible. I'd like to hear comments of a GM after playing at least 25 serious games. I think I'd hear something like: Wow! I don't believe I'll ever be able to master this game." These words from the same IM. But don't take his words, see it for yourself. Zillionsofgames. com already has a computer program for Z-Chess ran by the "zillions" engine but it is only for beginners. The best way to learn the game is by going to one of the websites (probably maintained by the inventor), and print out (and enlarge) the board if you want to play it. Do a Google search or go to: www.zeechess.8m.com
Enjoy!
