Dear Ms Bhardwaj,

Congratulations on your performances and silver medal in Athens. It was a pleasure and quite inspirational to watch you perform.

I work for New Century Mortgage Corporation. It is headquartered in Irvine, CA. It is the nation's largest specialty mortgage lender. I manage the company's Management Trainee Program. The Program is for recently graduated college seniors. It is a 56-week training program that teaches them our business from nuts to bolts and prepares them for future leadership positions.

The Management Trainee Program is very competitive. Only the best and brightest graduates are selected. The first class recently started and we are in the process of recruiting for our next class. We are looking for 20 Trainees and will screen more than 1500 applicants to find them.

As I watched the Olympics and heard your story, it occured to me that you would be an excellent candidate for our program. The starting salary, while in training, has a base of $36K, but with bonuses Trainees can expect to earn more than $40K while still in learning the business. Once out of the program the average salary for graduates is in six figures.

I don't know what your future holds for you. I do know that in your very capable hands it will be as bright as the medal you won. If you are interested in talking with me about a challenging and rewarding career with opportunities to lead another team, please call me or send me an E-mail.

I will be out of the office next week and return on August 30. My work number is 949 797-5732 and my E-mail address is alanders@ncen.com. Our company web site is undergoing revisions, but can be found at www.ncen.com or www.newcentury.com. I look forward to talking with you.

Respectfully,

Alan Landers
Director, AE Development

Great job Mo!!! We were really excited that you made the team and won the team metal! We have been keeping up with you recently after reading an article about you in the Houston Chronicle. My brother is really excited about you doing so well because he says that he knows you from a few years back before your college days. His name is Freddie but at that time he was also known by "Fry". I don't know if that rings a bell, but He was hoping it would.

If you do remember him He was hoping that you could send him a Hey at nani49@netzero.com. Good luck tomorrow!!

Hey MO,
It's me again. I just saw you perform and saw the results. I was shocked when I saw that you got a 9.312. I honestly thought something wasn't right.I mean you didn't even mess up. Well I'm sure you know what happen, so if you don't mind, can you please let me know why you got the score that you got. By the way, you were great out there. Just keep up the good work, have fun, and do what you do best.

Hello there,
After I had finished watching the olympics for the evening, i couldn't help but notice your name being mentioned. As you can probably see from the last name, we share something in common. I never would have expected to see anyone with this similarity (especially under these circumstances), by which i mean exact same spelling. I am a 21 year old college student from Stockton,CA hopefully looking to transfer to UCLA in the near future. I will be looking forward to hearing from you, but in the in meantime, CONGRATS to you in the Olympics and in all your major accomplishments! Sambosky7@aol.com

Hey Mo,

I just watched the last gymnastics event last night and saw you in the floor exercise and couldn't believe the score you got. Well it doesn't matter because your story was touching and you have been a great inspiration to everyone and especially the South Asian Community. You were the only reason why I watched the Olympics and it was a pleasure watching you. Once again Congratulations on your achievements and good luck in the future!!! One thing is for sure, you made us all proud. I know it's a long shot, but if you are in the NYC area, it would be a honor to meet you. And it would be a honor and a pleasure to have an autographed pic of you.

Thank you for making Gymnastics fun to watch.....

Your floor exercise was way better then any of the others and should have at the least come in 2nd. You handled the unreal low score with the same admirable style as you showed in the team event. The Romanian team gets way to much favoritism if you ask me. I'm sure you have your own opinion about that though. BTW, what's up with them always landing and taking a step back to pose? It looks like they stick the landing, but the quick step back helps with keeping balanced. I don't know, maybe I'm the only one that has noticed that.

You did great MO and have shown a nation what hard work and dedication can produce. Way to make a come back girl!! =) Your success is bigger and brighter then any medal.

Hello Mohini, I wasn't planning on writting anything and really don't know what to say, or even believe you have time to read everyones comments. But a friend of mine was in gymnastic so because of her I do watch the sport if I see that it is on TV. I think it's great that everyone on the team did a great job, but does it ever feel sad or mad that you only won a silver? I am not trying to take anything away from the silver or bronze winners but if your shooting for gold is it bitter sweet winning the silver. Thanks for your time.
