i agree. that is a baby and babies cry because this is their only way of communicating. sometimes in our community, it is believed that we should let the child "cry it out". this can have negative even fatal effects
i was even told by people that my 7 wk old son is a "lap baby". whatever! maybe your baby senses your husbands attitude and the tension when you are gone. especially if your husband is not catering to the babies every need like he needs to it sounds to me like maybe your husband is basing his view of the baby by how he was raised. but this is a problem with our children today. studies have shown that you can only wreap great benefits by providing your child with a sense of security.
