/m825 TimetoRetire asked a legitmate question. Why isn't USPS trying to get rid of EAS workers as hard as it is trying to get rid of craft? Don't tell us that there is a "get to work or get out" policy. How many have been told to get out after completing the RIF? (hint:ZERO)

good luck to the people being excessed into the south fl. l&dc......this place will make you wish the economy was better and you would take a better job for half your salery. ACTING PLANT MANAGER-- eddy galindo is a racist fool who tells people he does not believe in giving revise schedules to anyone for any reason but then turns around and gives a fellow cuban a revise.. thats good managing. also there is an idiot named brian goldstein, he is the MDO for tour 1. he thinks he runs the whole building and does not like to be told no. a couple of years ago he was a clerk at the gmf in miami and the workers say his specialty was playing dominoes and pinball. he basically stayed in the breakroom half of his work day developing his skills for the games. that must be why the post office wanted him has a supervisor. now i see why the post office is losing money. the bad choices they make in picking there supervisors is a reflection to the service we give our customers......

miami, like the way you called out names, wish more people did that. It's all about the facts. The contract is written so that we can give the best possible customer service. If we learn and follow it to the "T". The customers will get their mail promptly and safely. All those Plant workers are lazy aren't they? Thanks for the "Shout Out"!!!!!!

We have mall cops working at the post office. Mall Cops are those individuals that never made it as a real cop but try to inforce their own ways of laws inside a mall. We have one of those mall cops in our facility. William Rodriguez is a supervisor at the l@dc in miami fl. He was transferred to that facility because he had some sexual harrasment issues at a customer service position. He likes to bully employees into do things that they should not have to do according to their bid. Last night he told an employee to get a forklift and bring mail to the door. The employee told him that he was tired and did not feel good and did not want to drive. Again william the mall cop told the employee to get on the forklift, and again the employee told him his reason for not wanting to drive. Now william gave him a look that is usually given to a child that angered his parents and told that employee to once again get on a forklift and do what he told him to do. If an employee tells you he is tired or sick he is not obligated to drive a piece of equipment. Imagine if that employee for 1 second dosed off and hit another employee and seriously injured that employee, the employee would be blammed for driving and the mall cop-william rodriquez would cover his butt and lie because he knows he should have taken the advice of the employee and not let him drive...more and more William Rodriquez is becoming a mall cop and less of a supervisor... next time we should just going him to pick up our work uniforms from the dry cleners since he is already on duty protecting the mall!!!!!!!!!!

I agree, at times our supervisor do take giving orders to far. we need to weed out some of the bad supervisors and train good ones if we ever plan on getting the mail out to our customers in a timely manner. if we can get the respect of the employees, then we will be able to get them to go above and beyond their work duties. We need them more than they need us......

Miami, Did this employee who was too tired and sick to drive a forklift drive their car home? If so, then they had a lame excuse for not driving the forklift. They could just as easily have caused an accident on the road using your logic.

Your logic would be correct righton, only problem is that person car pools with another employee. You shouldn't assume that everybody is trying to get out of work. There are cases that are true but unfortunatly they are overshadowed by the false ones......

Why are we delaying and destroying secondary mail in NDCs? Recirculation counts on the PSMs has been reduced to 5 (approx. 13 minutes) from 13 (approx. 40 minutes). If no clerks are working the slides in one aisle, and a slide is full, then the mail goes to missent, and has to be reinducted through the whole system. There was a much better chance to get mail out in a timely manner before, and in one piece! Now we send it back through all the conveyors, and the dreaded "Shredulator" (SSIU) to keep rewrap clerks busy!

The reason we delay and destroy the mail is so we can show a drop in volume and no need for useless craft. That also helps cover up falsifying numbers. Of course, the PFP goal will always be met and I will alway get my boner. er. Bonus. I mean. PFP. You know, Promoted for Puzzy

If the carrier cannot case and deliver all the mail at his case in 8 hours or do his route in 8 hours and pivot if given a pivot, he has to submit a 3996.

keeping it simple /m842 -- technically, "has to submit a 3996" is not correct. If the carrier can't do it in eight, he notifies the supervisor verbally and if aux help or OT is authorized, then the 3996 gets filled out.
