Tammy, I signed with Roger's family plan. It's okay. Heh, heh, I have to say that, can't get out of this one unless I pay a penalty fee. Well, I'll look into it in a few months time.
Bill Gates, the Pied Piper! I like that one. In Thailand, I would say it's our popularly loved/hated PM Taksin, our equivalent to Italy's Bersculoni. Too bad Howard Dean dropped out of the US Presidential race, I was cheering for him for some time. Now I just have to accept Kerry. Anyway, anybody's better than Bush. Don't you think Bush would qualify as the Pied Piper too? He plays a tune called "Weapons of Mass Destruction". : )

Thanks Nui. Geez, I sure hope you're on a really good family plan for all those phones. You can eliminate one house line with a cell phone using Fido's latest offer I think for $45/mo. Good to shop around...
DigitalCritter, do you mean the Pied Piper? The one who plays the flute and all the mice fall into line behind? I'd say he's personafied these days in our very own Bill Gates with the vast majority of the general public dependent on Microsoft technologies.

Hi, Tammy! Welcome back! Glad you didn't give up on blogging. About cellphones being necesarry.... my two teenage kids have been bugging me for a couple of years to have hps like their trendy friends. With my son going to an out of the neighborhood high school, I thought it would be better to put an 'electronic lasso' on him. For the system to work effectively, I had to get myself and his sister each a cell. So we have two phones at home, 3 cellphones, and if you count the phone my husband uses at his office to communicate with us as well, that adds up to 6 phones for a family of 4. I groan everytime I see our communication bills.

In the realm of digital gadgets, where would Peter Piper go?
