I, too, posted an article in my Camera Phone Report about Rumsfeld banning camera phones -- http://www.wirelessmoment.com/2004/05/defense_secreta.html -- and like some other writers suggested that skepticism was prudent until the story could be confirmed.
 
However, there might be some truth to the matter, based upon a Defense Dept. Directive issued in April. It seems that Xeni Jardin of BoingBoing posted some additional information and also will discuss it on National Public Radio this week.
