Liverpool Baseball and Softball signups start today at the Facktory on the corner of Chestnut and Front Streets. January 16th and 23rd from 11:00-1:00pm, and January 20th from 6-8pm. Costs are $25/player for baseball and softball, and $10 for T-ball. Family discounts will be applied. NO child will be denied participation for lack of funds, just ask us how!!
Practices should start by the end of March, and games by the end of April.

Does anyone know of someone who wants a treadmill? It's brandnew hardly ever been used and it's in great condtion..Has owner's manual and tools, It has a pulse sensor and MP# or i-pod plug in..It inclines for a better workout.It has 4 weight loss, 4 aerobic, 4 endurance, and 4 performancw workouts. It also folds up for storage..We need more room in the room it's in to put an extra bathroom eventually...$500.00 OBO..

It is with deep regret that I read the post from Mr Teats about the resignation of the Zoning officer, however, I must say the way some people treat these officers, who have a very thankless job, I can't blame him. No matter what the reasoning was for the resignation, I CAN"T BLAME HIM!!!!!!!!

brought in the new year in liverpool with the canal boat dropping once again! always enjoy it... just too bad the treacherous roads brought out just a handful of spectators. thanks for making it happen!

For those that weren't able to make it out to the festivities in downtown Liverpool tonight, the Canal Boat Drop went off without a hitch or any mechanical problems. I would like to thank Dave Lowe, who has been instrumental in helping me rig every drop to date. Also, thanks to the Liverpool Ambulance League for sound equipment and time keeping, the Fire Police for street closure and safety, and the Shuler family for the refreshments at the Church. Last, I would like to extend a huge thank you to the eight or nine residents who braved the weather to experience the major event. I really expected a large number of volunteers stepping forward to help this year, after the outcry from the poor display last year due to the mechanical issues......., but no. As a wise leader told me once, don't bring me a problem without offering a solution, so I challenge anyone who would like to see this event expanded next year, bring your ideas, but don't forget to offer your time as well. walt

The Canal Boat replica WILL be dropped at, (or around),midnight on New Year's Eve. I also understand some refreshments will be available across the street starting at 11:00pm at the Methodist Church. I'm not sure if they are having any type of program though... Hopefully someone else can answer that.
