I'm thinking the next strip will be like this, to keep with the 'pacing'

http://img66.photobucket.com/albums/v200/Z...oshops/mogonter.gif

yes, i know i spelled 'gomen' wrong. all typos on purpose. it worries me that i labor so much over stuff that basically looks worse than the stuff of the guy i'm poking fun of.

Apparently tinned salmon is OK-- salmon doesn't absorb a pile of mercury itself (I read the FDA warning via BBC, who give some depth to the reportage, rather than just shouting "BOO!"), and it seems that it's caught by sensible methods. For daily rations, our mob endorses Hill's Science Diet Oral Care-- spakling pink gums without being traumatized by the vet, and since it's roughly the size and shape of Sugar Corn Pops, it's fun to chase.

Bill and zef:
I sense the bottom panel is an ATTEMPT to depict 'Adam can see what's in her hand but we can't'. It's not needed. The frame of Adam reacting is enough to imply that he can see it. Mind you, if the previous frames are any hint, she could be barin' her pert Japanese bosom at him.
And your 'sequel' page was hilarious, Zef :). Funny, your misspelling of 'gomen' looked like 'Goemon' to me ie - the samurai sidekick of Lupin. ;)
Personally, I question the phrase 'It is I who would like to do for you'. Where I come from 'do for you' implies providing services of a more 'discrete' kind *nudge nudge*

Incidentally, for the half-dozen or so people who are into it, I set up another Quicktopic board for Gonterman stuff. Just so Bill's later posts don't keep getting hijacked by our odd little fascination with ol' Square Eyes ;)
Here it is:

Yet another reason I'm glad I'm a vegetarian. About a month ago I spontaneously became one after having a horribly vivid dream about a pig that was force-fed until its stomach exploded. That was pretty much the end of that.

I'm not sure why this would cause me to lay off fish, but I always hated the taste of fish anyway, so it wasn't some big sacrifice.

I do miss chicken and ham, though. I buy the "meatless meat-flavored food product" now.

"I do miss chicken and ham, though. "

Yet more proof that humans are physically omnivore, and hence have no need to lay off meat. ;) i know i could never live without meat. sad, tuna is the only fish apart from shark (dogfish, i think it's called there) and shrimp that i dig.

Cool, a Gonty board. Maybe he should add Ritalin to his mix so he can get shit done and get to the point.

I was in Tahiti once and saw a guy greet a family of four Asians with the Japanese good morning (I can't remember what it is offhand). I think my mouth flew open at his presumption that they were Japanese, they responded in English and then sat and talked in English! I was like, "Take that you asshat!" Sure the Asias are close to Tahiti, but just making a physical assumption like that... always pisses me off.

On the other hand, I'm always relieved when the latina clerks at the grocery store use English for me. I bought "Spanish For Dummies" but haven't made any progress.

Catwoman was to film some stuff on my street but ended up conflicting with another filming (Third Wish?) and they had to move/delay/cancel it (no word yet).

Nnngh. Now my parents are wanting to put us all on the Atkins diet. As a vegetarian, this would leave me with nothing to eat but soy milk and carpet.

"...wanting to put us all on the Atkins diet."

I greatly distrust any diet system that offers "Ready-to-Eat Sliced Bread". It implies that eventually they'll offer "Sliced Bread You Must Wrestle to Submission". I'll admit I'm pretty fond of the flesh of my fellow creatures, but occasionally I like to give my kidneys a rest with a salad, or a nice apple.

The Atkins diet is, in my opinion, nutritionally gruesome. And any diet that says I can eat three steaks wrapped in cheese slices but I mustn't have a freakin' apple is really screwed. Forget these fad diets, eat less and exercise!

What IS the Atkins Diet? Does it recommend ANY fibrous fruit or veggies, or at least daily doses of vitamin D and folic acid?
My Dad died of colon cancer, so that means I'm on the hit-list, too. And an all-meat/no fiber diet is the quickest way, especially if you don't take some key supplements that meat doesn't give you.

I should dig out my old copy of the book "Fads, Follies and Delusions of the American People," which had a chapter on the fad diets of its time (up until 1967). There was one called "The Drinking Man's Diet." By which they meant "dieting by getting drunk."
Well, yes. Vomiting and diarrhea will make you lose weight. IT WORKED FOR ME! I should make the "Splut Spastic Diaphragm Diet"!

Where do i sign up? some mexican food's just as evil, anyway. I personally live in horror of the 'eating less' concept. i could never do such a thing.

There's a new post for the main page, but either WSFTP is down and not letting me upload it, or I'm royally D--- Cheney'd.

The carb-phobia sweeping America these days is truly scary. I avoid eating overly fatty foods like deep-fried stuff, but my staple foods are pasta and rice and I'm damned if someone's going to tell me that's unhealthy.
I lost more weight when I dropped milk from my diet. I eat a helluva lot of cheese and I love ice cream, so I still get my calcium.
I also extoll the virtues of a good ol' general anaesthetic to lost weight. I always lost weight after a bit of day surgery. ;)
